Chapter 12: Vacation
[Prelude to Chaos Arc]

The glaring heat of the sun and the splashing waves on the shore whilst the fresh wind that blew over couldn't help but made one smile. This kind of atmosphere made one feel at ease. The princesses and their knights were glad they got permission to take a break after all that's happened.
Saya looked over towards her cousins and smiled. They were also wearing swimsuits and looked absolutely stunning.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go!!" Rinne said enthusiastically which made all of them grin more. Saya followed her lead and also said, "Rinne is right. Let's have some fun!!!"
Rinne ran ahead of them and headed towards the sea. Her golden hair willowed with the wind as the sun reflected on her locks, making them seem like each strand was glowing.
Saya ran after her and so did the rest of the others. She dived into the water and quickly immerged floating like she was just lying down.
Ahh... This feeling was really pleasant.
But her happimess was short lived when suddenly water was splashed on to her face which startled her and made her lose her cool as she quickly submerged into the water. Saya stood up to find the culprit and probably avenge herself but to her suprise, it was actually Haji!
Haji grinned at her. Knowing her mood, his grin faltered. Saya laughed at him and playfully smiled.
"This. Is. War!"
After Saya said that, the both of them were now splashing water at each other. The others saw them and immediately joined in the fun.
Water splashed and some even unfortunately got salt water in their eyes, especially the poor Rinne and Urika. It was quite hillarious and amusing.
All of them laughed and smiled. To them, this was probably the best time they've had so far...

Kiede layed down under the shade of a tree as she watched everyone else have fun in the water. A small smile graced her lips, making her cold but beautiful face even more devastating as she saw Haji splash water unto Saya's face. She was surprised at his actions as well. Kiede never knew Haji had the guts to do that. And in just a few seconds, all of them were in an all-out splashing war.
Kiede laughed lightly and settled settled her gaze somewhere else. She looked at the direction of the snack house to look for the familiar form of her knight who were supposed to get her water and the others their drinks.
But seeing the scebe before her, her smile was gone and her face was back to its origibal expression. Blank and cold.
Kiede unconsciously frowned. Chiaki was suddenly surrounded by a flock of girls.
How did that freaking happen?
She saw him politely smiling at the girls and immediately left. His expression one of discomfort and unease.
Kiede breathed a sigh of relief. It really never got old. Wherever Chiaki went, girls somehow flocked to him. It was like he was a natural girl magnet, even though he disliked that much attention on him.
"Are you alright?" Kiede asked, slightly worried. He looked somehow weary.
"Why, are you jealous?" he asked teasingly. Nevermind it.
Kiede just sighed. It would seem he was just fine for his usual teasing attitude was back.
"You wish." she replied with a huff.
"Yeah." Chiaki muttered something, his expression unreadable.
Kiede thoughtvshe was hearing things. "What did you say?" she asked, puzzled.
"Nothing." Chiaki replied, looking away.
"Nothing at all."
