This is the story of Evangeline Beaumont and Alexander Blackthorne.
Evangeline works in advertising and is great at her job, she is estranged from her parents and younger sister and is engaged. She couldn't wait to get married because she would finally have  a family of her own but luck wasn't on her side or maybe it was divine intervention as she found her soon to be husband sleeping with a not just any woman but her best friend. 
Why couldn't she find peace after so many years? Was she unworthy of it or was she just a game to the universe. But when one door closes, another opens and this one has the man who would cherish her like no other behind it.
