At Waseda University, summer drags on in the oppressive heat, but nothing quite stirs the student body like the quiet Kiyoto Yamamoto. As class president, top student, and captain of the basketball team, Kiyoto is admired from a distance for his sharp looks and talent. His stoic expression makes him seem unapproachable, but those close to him know he’s kindhearted, just reserved. He’s a guy who likes to keep his head down, avoiding the attention that seems to follow him everywhere.

But everything changes when a new student, Miyano Tokio, transfers into the class in the middle of the semester.  Miyano immediately captures the room’s attention. Whispers of "Is he a celebrity?" fly across the room, but it’s Kiyoto who feels the biggest shift. There’s a moment just a flicker when their eyes meet, and Kiyoto's memory went back to school days. he knows that Miyano’s arrival will stir up more than just classroom gossip.
