A young girl Liz leaves home to join campus. She has never been far from her family and there is a lot of pressure for her to be successful. She moves in with her cousin Lilaa. They navigate through a lot of challenges together and at one point their close relationship turns sour but grief brings them together. 

Liz at a party meets with Col who's a DJ and they build this beautiful friendship. They both battle with depression but through music the conqueror a day at a time. 

Love, Pain , anxiety, death, forgiveness and friendship are all part of our lives and one way or another we must experience them and the characters in the book showcase their experience with them.

Liz comes from counting to three while standing on the edge of a bridge to counting to three while taking a happy and memorable selfies with those she loves.
