I'm Kaylee Janix, and if you don't know who I am, that's okay. It's just the way I like it. I live in a military city in a post-apocalyptic, zombie(or Turned) infested world, and life is pretty simple. Everything is working out okay... except for my sister. She's only fourteen, and with her terminal illness, that number might never go up. However, the King is announcing a competition, and the winners get to go to the capital. It's the only place that might be able to save my sister. I have to do it.
