Humans are near the bottom of the food chain, almost anything outside will kill them. Somehow, through sheer grit, a kingdom of humans was formed on a large peninsula; bringing rise to Paerid. While humans do start near the bottom of the food chain, they can climb it to become predators instead of prey through skill, hard work, and talent. Humans had started a schooling system for the young to teach them how to at least survive, but there's one prestigious school that stands above the rest; Apex Academy.
