Chapter Six Hundred [Creation]
Chen Xiaolian didn't know what world lay beyond the door.
All he knew was that, after the three challenges, what probably awaited them was the true test of this game.
He didn't even ask Phoenix about how she was captured, or about the whereabouts of Nagase Komi and the old man Sawakita Mitsuo.
It wasn't that Chen Xiaolian didn't care about his comrades; he just knew that asking now was pointless.
If they were already dead, there was nothing to be said. If they were alive and captured, then defeating the opponent would naturally lead to their rescue.
Asking was meaningless.
As Chen Xiaolian resolutely pulled open the door and was about to step through, Phoenix suddenly called out.
"Face."
"Hmm?"
Chen Xiaolian turned back.
"I'm sorry, I cannot fight alongside you for now," Phoenix took a deep breath.
Chen Xiaolian was stunned for a moment, then he smiled, "It's okay."
