Anyone should realize that messing with me could result in something drastic. Isabella Harris, brown-haired, blue-eyed with a messy bun entered the classroom and my eyes landed on her. She was quite petite, her skin mostly pale giving off main character vibes. Art, yes... Her art is why my parents decided to sponsor her.
I was reading my psychology textbook when she said, "Hi, um... Your Alina, right?"
"And? Am I supposed to show you around like everyone else? The only reason you're here is because of MY parents. Get that through your head and don't bother me, okay?" I replied, disdain dripping from my voice. What a nuisance.
"I heard some interesting things about you. Is that why you're so angry?"
"Oh.... what would they be? What have you heard?" I asked, putting my textbook down. Funny thing is she has nothing to lose and I have everything to lose. Which means I have to use every dirty trick in the book to stay on top. And the inheritance is just another one of those things to keep under control my control.
"Your family's inheritance money is going to someplace else since none... of the kids in the family lineage wants any of it. That your family owns everything in the city"
"I admit you have quite the sharp tongue," I reply motioning for her to take a seat. She did sit down, and gave me a small smile. I don't need friends.
After school was when he came. Lucas Bennett, College student... Business major that hooked me with one go. Imagining his tongue running all over me is enough to get me heated up.
"Lucas."
With my backpack slung over my back, I walk up to him and hugged him. He leaned down to the crook of my neck and breathed in my scent. We pulled back after that of course and he asked, "How was school?"
"Just the usual."
"Is that all you have to say to me? Not 'It's better now that your here?'..."
Sweet and caring. And yet somehow very charming. Only for now... and in the public's eye he is the perfect boyfriend... When we are alone though it's a complete different story.
"It is better now that you're here Lucas," I say, and his face lights up. He gazes at me like I'm a piece of meat. I get in the front seat.
"That's right, it is better I'm with you isn't it?"
"Of course it is." The wind blew my hair a little too hard making my hair fly in different directions. "Where to, babe?"
He'll decide the next destination. I can sit back let him be the navigator and designated driver.
