Checking the time on my smartwatch, I realized my class was about to start. I quickly left my dorm room and made my way toward the classroom. As I walked, I couldn't help but admire my surroundings outside the dormitory. Looking around, I reassured myself once again that I was truly in a fantasy world.
I glanced at my smartwatch to confirm my class number: A-1. Seeing the class assignment, I wasn't entirely surprised to find myself placed in the same class as the main cast. I had hoped the odds would favor me and slot me into a less remarkable class where I could blend in more easily. Unfortunately, my luck seemed to have worked against me in this regard.
Walking through the hallway, I passed by various classrooms until I finally reached mine. I noticed a few students entering, so at least I wasn't late. As I stepped inside, I surveyed the room and chose a seat in the middle, somewhere between the front and the back. I wanted to remain as inconspicuous as possible—attention had never been something I sought, neither in this world nor my former one.
Moments later, the lively chatter in the room came to an abrupt halt. The reason? One of the main characters had entered the classroom. The atmosphere, which had been buzzing with noise, fell silent as she stepped inside. That person was none other than Amara Evangeline, the second daughter of the Grand Duke of the Empire.
Amara was the epitome of noble beauty. Her presence was commanding, impossible to ignore even from afar. With her golden blonde hair and striking crimson eyes, she had a face that could turn heads effortlessly. Everything about her radiated power and authority. Amara was one of the most talented individuals in the Empire, with the potential to become a Warlord—a feat only a rare few could even dream of achieving. She made her way to a seat in the front row, and as she settled in, I stole a few glances at her. However, I didn't dare stare for too long.
Shortly after, three more individuals entered the classroom in succession, each taking their respective seats. These three were also part of the main cast: Aurora Celeste, Selene Amelie, and Maxwell Kraftwell.
Aurora Celeste stood out with her flowing blue hair and eyes like a vast ocean. Selene Amelie, on the other hand, had a more mysterious aura, her brown hair complementing her enigmatic green eyes that seemed to conceal countless secrets. Lastly, there was Maxwell Kraftwell, one of the most intriguing characters in the story. Initially portrayed as a stereotypical bully and minor villain, his character development throughout the novel was exceptional, making him one of the most well-written characters in the story.
It seemed almost all the main characters had already arrived. Moments later, the classroom door opened again, and our teacher entered. Instantly, the class fell into absolute silence. If Amara could command quiet attention, our teacher could render everyone completely speechless.
This person was none other than Ember Rosalind, a mid-stage Champion—beings whose powers rivaled that of demi-gods. She stood tall and firm at the front of the room. Her striking red hair and devilish red eyes exuded an aura so intense that even a coliseum full of rowdy spectators would fall silent in her presence.
Before she could utter a single word, the door opened once more, and a black-haired, blue-eyed student walked into the room. Of course, it was the protagonist himself. Leave it to the main character to make a dramatic entrance.
The entire class watched as he calmly made his way to an empty seat at the back of the room. Ember glanced at him briefly but didn't let the interruption faze her. She then resumed what she was about to say, commanding the attention of the entire class.
