The moon hung heavy in the sky, its silver glow casting eerie shadows across the sleeping village of Eldoria. The air was cool, carrying the faint scent of jasmine, but Aria barely noticed. She stood by her window, her breath fogging up the glass as she listened—waiting.
Then, it came.
A whisper. Soft as a feather, yet clear as a bell.
"Aria..."
She stiffened. It wasn't the wind, nor the rustling of trees. It was a voice—gentle, melodic, and ancient, as if it had traveled through centuries just to reach her.
This wasn't the first time she had heard it.
For a year now, the whispers had haunted her nights, murmuring her name in the silence. At first, she had thought it was a dream. Then, she had convinced herself she was imagining things. But the more she ignored them, the stronger they became.

A chill crawled down her spine. She stepped away from the window, her heart thudding in her chest.
