Chapter Nine -- Stay away from him.
Colette's Point of View
Louis and I have been dating for seven months now, and it is the most wonderful time ever. He is a wonderful boyfriend and he takes care of me, but I have been thinking about moving in with him, or he moves in with me or we get an apartment, I spend all of my time at his place anyway, and it is like we are practically living together, except that we are not.
"Lunch?" Scar walks to me and sits beside me, I shake my head "I'll be grabbing lunch with Lou later." She nods and places her order over the phone, and I smile when she orders for me anyway. The food arrives in less than twenty minutes, and I sit beside her, munching on fries.
"So, things are getting serious with the Werewolf." Scar grins and I flush "You are an idiot and don't call him that, his name is Louis." "Yeah, whatever. Things are getting serious?" She asks, solemn and I exhale, thinking about Lou.
"Our six month anniversary was few weeks ago, almost a month, but not quite, I thought I told you this, but I must have forgotten. Anyway, so, it was our six months anniversary and you know how much I love to celebrate milestones, and Lou is the only boyfriend that I have been with for this long, ever since Xavier - it was a big deal to me." I articulate, and she nods, eating.
"I wanted to celebrate, but I didn't want to make it such a huge deal, so I planned to order from that new, amazing restaurant that just opened, and spend the night with him, and the weekend, I got him a simple but chill gift - I was actually freaking out about it." I chuckle and she gives me a look "Why did you not tell me anything?"
I shrug "It sounds stupid, the fact that I am half way in love with Louis, when I still don't know enough about him, it bugs me how much I can love him in such a short amount of time, but I do and this can be more in a few months. You were busy with that deadline at work, I didn't want to pester you, so I just threw myself into finding a gift for him, and I did, I found him a book that he loves, something missing from his collection of old books, and I had this whole thing planned, but when I got to his apartment, you will not believe what I found." I grin and she smiles, because she know, he definitely asked her.
"The apartment was covered with rose petals, flowers, balloons, and so much more, Lou had the biggest smile on his face, like he was so proud of himself, he was also dressed perfectly for the occasion and he got me a very expensive dress, which means he got in touch with you. Why didn't you tell me?" I smile, and she shrugs "You were busy freaking out and he was busy trying to make everything special for you, so I gave him a few pointers and he did the rest."
"A beautiful dress, a wonderful dining experience indoor, and he gave me the option of going out, but all I wanted to do was snuggle against him and never leave, which was we did, and it was amazing. I thought the dress was the gift, but it was not, he got me a Swarovski necklace and I got him a book." I giggle and she smiles. "I was so ashamed and shocked by what he planned, because I did so little, but he didn't mind, he was the perfect planner and I fell a little in love with him."
"So, it is serious." Scar deduces and I nod, laughing "Damn right, it is serious."

Later in the day, with the sun at its apex, I head to Columbia University, to surprise Lou, he is very busy with work lately, and is definitely not expecting me, but he deserves a break and a nice meal made by a Chef. I knock on his office door, but my smile falters when a woman walk out, a student, with an hour glass shape, and before I even look at Lou, I know what is wrong.
"What is your name?" I ask and she looks at me, with the rudeness of a student, scoffs and snort "What is it to you?"
"Professor Bordeaux is my boyfriend, and he is your Professor. You don't have to tell me your name, I will figure it out one way or the other and the next time you can't take a hint, I will report you to the Dean and you get rusticated. Stay away from him, and we won't have a problem." I warn her and she stares at me, in shock, and I can see the moment she decides not to call my bluff. She rolls her eyes and walks away, I close the door and turn to Lou.
"You are my savior." He groans and kisses me, I chuckle when he pulls away "I brought you Lunch." I say and he kisses me again, and leads me to his table, he helps me with the desk and he leans against his table, but I am uncomfortable, because he has been working all day and I'm taking a break from the Gallery ahead of the show.
"Sit, I will sit on you." I pull him to me, and he does as I say, I help him loosen his tie and we have a wonderful lunch.
"Eager for the show?" He muses and I smile "I am eager to showcase everyone the artistes we have found and their beautiful work." He listens as I tell him about everything, he always listens.
"Do you want to move in with me?" He blurt out and I freeze, shocked "What?" "Do you wanna move in with me? I can get another apartment if you don't like mine." He assures me and I kiss him.
