Turnaround and Another Leap
It wasn't just Danzo's incompetence and fury at losing what he considered his greatest asset—Uchiha Yue—but also his miscalculation. Contrary to Danzo's assumption, Uchiha Yue did not immediately leave the Root base.
While his abilities may superficially resemble Uchiha Obito's Kamui in both appearance and effect, their fundamental nature is entirely different.
Obito's Kamui functions through a separate dimension—Kamui space—allowing him to phase through objects and teleport by manipulating true spatial displacement. His power is an application of actual space-time ninjutsu.
On the other hand, Uchiha Yue's ocular technique is rooted in an illusory world. While it grants him a similar intangibility effect, this power is ultimately based on illusion rather than true space-time manipulation. Instead of shifting his body into another dimension like Obito, Yue's technique alters perception and reality within his illusory domain, making his intangibility seemingly more seamless and absolute.
However, this means that unlike Obito, Yue cannot use his technique for true space-time teleportation. What appears to be teleportation is actually a carefully structured effect within his pre-established illusory world, forming an enchantment field that creates the illusion of instant movement.
In this realm, Uchiha Yue retains a portion of his authority that he normally possesses only within the illusory world.
Taking full advantage of this unique domain, Uchiha Yue effortlessly eliminated the elite Root operatives and, right in front of Danzo, seized all of his hidden treasures. To further manipulate the situation, he simulated a teleportation effect, deliberately shifting the blame onto Uchiha Obito.
"Haha, this burden is Obito's to bear now. When he resurfaces, things are bound to get interesting."
Hidden in the shadows, Uchiha Yue glanced in Danzo's direction and muttered to himself, his tone dripping with schadenfreude.
Uchiha Yue harbored no goodwill toward Uchiha Obito. After all, it was Obito who unleashed the Nine Tails upon Konoha, nearly killing his master and his master's wife—both of whom had treated him kindly. There was no redemption for such actions.
Moreover, Obito's nature was no less twisted than that of Uchiha Itachi, who had slain his own clan, including his parents, with his own hands. Both were products of deep psychological distortion, shaped by the brutal fate of the Uchiha. For someone like him, if he wasn't directly provoked or if it didn't benefit him, he wouldn't bother meddling in someone else's affairs.
But unfortunately, as a member of the Uchiha clan, he happened to be one of the two targets that that twisted man wanted to kill.
So, don't blame him for making the first move!
"Well, if we go by the original events of the Uchiha Clan Massacre, Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Obito were the primary executioners. Danzo's Root operatives only stepped in to ensure no survivors remained."
"As for the Hokage's Anbu, they likely moved ahead of time to secure key areas, maintain order in Konoha, and shape the narrative afterward."
"With all these measures in place, the destruction of the Uchiha clan barely caused any major upheaval—it was a thoroughly planned operation."
"However, with my current actions, the unspoken agreement between Obito and Konoha is bound to be disrupted."
"If things escalate into direct conflict, the Uchiha Clan Massacre could take a drastically different turn."
While using the power of his Hollow ability to break free from the confines of his roots, Uchiha Yue couldn't help but reflect on everything. The once oppressive sky over the Uchiha clan, veiled by an inescapable web of fate, had finally been torn open, allowing a faint stream of sunlight to pierce through.
…
Time passed, and a new day began.
As the sun once again bathed the earth in its warm glow, signaling clear skies, Uchiha Yue had achieved yet another breakthrough. Standing at the peak of his own evolution, he smiled radiantly—his expression mirroring the brilliance of the world around him.

Overall Strength Evaluation
Kage-level – Despite a few foundational weaknesses, Uchiha Yue possesses immense potential, with rapid growth that shows no signs of stopping.
The newly organized attribute panel made Uchiha Yue's power clear at a glance. His rapid and exaggerated growth, visible to the naked eye, left him both surprised and unable to fully process the transformation.
Just a few days ago, his attribute data barely met the evaluation criteria for a standard Special Jōnin. Moreover, he was only comparable to an average Special Jōnin, relying heavily on his Three Tomoe Sharingan to compensate for any shortcomings.
However, in just a matter of days, the awakening of his Mangekyō Sharingan had caused his strength to skyrocket repeatedly. Not only had he ascended directly to the level of a Kage—standing at the pinnacle of the current ninja world—but his combat methods had also expanded exponentially.
At this moment, he felt confident enough to take on the Five Kage single-handedly, much like the legendary Uchiha Madara had done in the Fourth Great Ninja War, and still come out on top.
Or perhaps, he could invade an entire Hidden Village alone, cutting down enemy after enemy, much like how Madara devastated the Shinobi Alliance or how Pain single-handedly destroyed Konoha. No one would be able to stop him.
"Sure enough, this kind of rapid growth isn't something that comes from just training. If I had awakened my Mangekyō Sharingan purely through emotional trauma, I might have gained power, but I would have missed out on this perfect, almost cheat-like evolution of my eyes."
"And without the eyes I have now, even if I gained some self-protection abilities, I wouldn't have been able to wield true power. On the night of the massacre, I wouldn't have survived—let alone protected the Uchiha clan."
Feeling the surge of chakra within his body, overwhelming yet invigorating, Uchiha Yue exhaled in satisfaction. His pupils pulsed with newfound strength, sharpened by the immense life force coursing through him. A quiet sense of confidence settled over him—one he had never known before.
His actions last night had already torn a hole in the grand scheme. What once seemed like an inescapable fate now appeared riddled with flaws, fragile and weak in his eyes.
"Heh… the night of the Uchiha massacre?" A smirk played at his lips as he cast his gaze toward the Hokage Building. Let's see it, then. Can you really wipe out the Uchiha under my power?
With that, he withdrew his focus from the outside world, sinking back into the illusory domain of his mind.
After all, he had only just begun to digest the true extent of last night's gains. There was still much to refine, to master. His strength had skyrocketed in mere moments—far beyond his expectations. Mastery would take time, effort, and understanding.
And compared to that, those so-called enemies, once seen as insurmountable threats, no longer deserved his undivided attention.
