"Jiang Yuexia, are you sure you want to give up treatment?"
Tian Yao stood in front of me, blocking my way as I packed my things.
"Tian Yao, the doctor already said there's little hope for my treatment."
I looked up at her, a faint smile tugging at the corners of my lips.
"Rather than wasting my last days in a hospital, I'd rather use the time while I can still move around to do the things I want to do."
"Tian Yao, I'm sorry. I feel like I've wasted so much of your money trying to save me."
Tian Yao was stunned for a moment, then squatted down and hugged me tightly.
"Don't apologize. It's our fault. We didn't have the ability to save you."
"If you want to do anything, I'll do it with you!"
The scene shifted to a mall.
I was seriously picking out a gift from the shelves.
"My mom's birthday is in a month. She always has back pain, so I'm thinking of getting her a back massager."
After paying, I leaned over the counter to write a greeting card.
The camera tried to capture the message I was writing, but I quickly stretched out my hand to block it.
"You can't see it. It's a secret."

The scene shows a piece of paper with writing on it.
[Jiang Yuexia's Last Wish List: 1. Go to a Xingxing concert. 2. Design the funeral process. 3. See the ocean once.]
Tian Yao's voice can be heard off-camera.
"Jiang Yuexia, Xingxing is an idol from the older generation. Why do you suddenly want to see his concert?"
"When I was little, my dad would sing Xingxing's songs to help me fall asleep."
I placed a few star stickers on my face and put a photo of my dad in my pocket.
I turned around, urging Tian Yao, who was still putting on stickers, to hurry.
"Tian Yao, hurry up, we're going to be late."
At the concert venue, it was bustling with excitement.
I held onto Tian Yao with one hand, a glow stick in the other, dancing to the music and singing loudly.
In the footage, there's no sign of me being a cancer patient.
There were a few times during the concert when I almost lost my balance and leaned on Tian Yao's shoulder, quietly catching my breath.
When the last song ended, confetti fell from the sky.
Everyone closed their eyes and started making wishes.
In the midst of the loud cheers, I shouted aloud.
"Dad, Mom, I love you both, I love you so much!"
Even after the concert ended, I was still full of excitement.
"Tian Yao, I feel like this is all so unreal."
"During the concert, I completely forgot that I was sick. I felt so full of energy."
"If I had known, I would've brought Dad to the concert, maybe he wouldn't have left so soon…"
Tian Yao didn't respond.
She quietly turned away and wiped her tears.

I chose one of the photos Tian Yao took of me to be used as my posthumous photo.
The camera focuses on the computer screen, showing my posthumous photo.
Off-camera, my voice can be heard.
"Can you make my face a little fuller? I look like a monkey when I'm this thin."
"And can you fix my eyes? The size difference is so obvious."
"Also, remove all the spots on my face. I remember I didn't have any spots before."
After editing the photo according to my requests and printing it out, I smiled with satisfaction.
"Now this looks better. Even in death, I want to be the prettiest ghost."
Tian Yao's eyes turned red again.
"Jiang Yuexia…"
I smiled at her to offer some comfort, linking my arm with hers as we walked to the cemetery.
After walking around, I pointed to a plot farthest from my dad's grave.
"This one will do. I really like this place."
Tian Yao bit her lip and hesitated before speaking up.
"There's still a spot next to your dad. How about choosing that one? Don't worry about the money."
"It's not about the money."
"I don't know how much longer I'll live. At least I can hide it for now. I don't want Mom to come and visit Dad and find out that I'm dying too."
Tian Yao turned her head and didn't look at me.
I noticed her trembling shoulders and stepped forward to hug her.
"Tian Yao, if you cry now, you can't cry when I'm gone."
Tian Yao choked up.
"Please don't die, okay?"
I let out a soft laugh.
"Well, let me go down and negotiate with the King of Hell first, and then you can cremate my body later."
"Jiang Yuexia, do you still have the mood to joke around?"
"Alright, alright, I'm just teasing you. We still need to choose the offerings."
We arrived at the funeral offerings shop.
I looked at the various offerings, my eyes overwhelmed by the choices.
Suddenly, Tian Yao came up to me holding three sets of paper villas and eight large packages of gold ingots.
"Jiang Yuexia, I'm making you a wealthy lady down there!"
I couldn't help but chuckle.
But as I laughed, tears started to fall.
"Tian Yao, you're so kind."

I was sent back to the hospital and stayed for more than half a month. Finally, I could walk again.
This time, the scene takes place by the seaside.
"Jiang Yuexia, the joke you just made wasn't funny at all!"
"Do you know how scared we were? If you do this again, you're not allowed to leave the hospital!"
Tian Yao's angry voice came from off-camera.
I made an innocent face.
"I didn't want everyone to think I'm pitiful after I die, so I was trying to lighten the mood."
"Alright, I promise, I won't do this again. Please don't be mad."
Tian Yao was helpless and angry.
"Fine, fine, it's all up to you."
I chuckled and wiped away the tears at the corner of my eye, continuing to speak to the camera.
"Mom, I don't know if you'll ever get a chance to see this video."
"But I want to tell you, I really did try to fight against cancer. I originally wanted to wait until I was cured and then tell you everything."
"But I can't be cured. The doctor says the cancer cells spread too quickly. It's too late."
"I don't want to die at all. I'm afraid of death. I'm afraid I'll never see you again. I'm afraid it'll be painful when I die."
"Every time I say I want to give up, I'm actually afraid of hearing bad results."
"Chemotherapy gives me hope time after time, and then leaves me in despair. The process of fighting cancer is just too painful."
After I finished speaking, I couldn't stop crying, and eventually lost control of my emotions and ran away from the camera.
The camera didn't follow, it just shot my back from a distance.
Half an hour later, I returned holding a coconut, sitting in front of the camera. I sipped the coconut juice and started speaking.
"This coconut juice is really good. I've already had three today."
"But I plan to secretly…"
Before I could finish my sentence, fresh blood suddenly poured from my mouth.
In the ensuing chaos, the screen turned black.
