"Do you think I'm beautiful, Aaron?"
"Look at me…"
But as soon as Amora spoke, her invisible charm power began to act on Aaron's senses.
The same words echoed endlessly in his ears.
In her sight, Amora's appearance became more and more breathtaking, more alluring and beautiful than before.
The charm magic sought to take control of his body by altering his five senses, attempting to infiltrate his mind.
However, as soon as the charm entered his brain, it hit an invisible barrier and was completely blocked. It could not penetrate Aaron's consciousness.
Seeing Aaron's eyes gradually blur, Amora's smile grew brighter and brighter.
It worked!
In her presence, no man was immune to her charms.
Magic and evil could not resist her!
At that moment, Amora was already planning her next move.
Originally, after subduing Aaron, she would have helped him master more magic, beyond just mind magic, to become a powerful magician.
Then, she could leverage his strength to elevate herself even further.
She could even save her foolish sister along the way.
On a whim, she had taught Aaron two spells, just to test whether the rumors of Irene and the apprentices about Aaron's potential were true.
After her tests, Amora's thoughts had solidified.
Aaron had an extraordinary magical ability, one never seen before.
If he grew, he could break the bloodline shackles, transforming from an ordinary Asgardian into a god—something only attainable by royal blood.
There was even a possibility he could challenge Odin's rule.
Even if he couldn't defeat Odin outright, he could at least kill him.
Amora had long since noticed that Odin was growing older, his once unyielding dominance over the Nine Realms weakening.
Lorelai's coup had further proven this.
However, Odin was more resilient than anyone thought.
He had lived for centuries.
But no matter, she was still young, and so was Aaron.
With Aaron's magical power, after Odin was eliminated, Amora could rise to a higher status by his side.
As for Thor, the megalomaniac?
A little manipulation could take care of him.
Compared to his father, he was much younger and easier to handle.
The second prince, Loki, was intelligent but lacked strength.
Once Aaron matured, it would be easy for him to suppress Loki.
Amora had already begun to dream of a better life in the future.
"What's on your mind?" Aaron's voice broke her train of thought.
"Huh? Are you okay?" she asked, realizing she hadn't given Aaron permission to speak.
So, Aaron wasn't charmed?
Impressive.
For someone to resist her charm was rare—he had already surpassed ninety-nine percent of men.
Seeing the clarity in Aaron's eyes, Amora raised an eyebrow. She placed her hand on his shoulder and unleashed a stronger wave of her spiritual charm.
This time, she clearly sensed the barrier in Aaron's mind, blocking all her magical influence.
"A soul barrier?"
"When did you learn this?"
"Just before you arrived," Aaron replied casually.
"Damn it! It's Irene!" Amora cursed. "Even when you're not here, you're still trying to sabotage me? No wonder you took Aaron away and set up that illusion to block me."
Amora now understood why Irene had taken Aaron away earlier and set up that illusion. It was to teach Aaron the mind barrier magic to resist her charms.
But...
How could he have mastered it so quickly?
She was a master of mind magic!
Amora put all her strength into breaking through the barrier, determined to control Aaron completely.
She refused to believe that such a simple spiritual barrier could stop her.
She too knew mind barrier magic well.
As a master, she held absolute authority over psychic powers.
After many experiments, she knew the limits of a mind barrier's resistance.
This time, she was sure she could break through.
However, she had overestimated her own power.
The spiritual barrier was the ultimate counter to mind magic. Even at level 3, it was more than enough to resist Amora's control.
No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't break through the barrier.
She almost succeeded, just a hair's breadth away from winning.
Amora silently withdrew her hands and froze, her mind going blank.
"Your Majesty, what's going on inside?" Irene couldn't wait any longer.
Aaron and Amora had been inside for so long—just the two of them!
She didn't want such a promising magical talent to be ruined by Amora.
Frigga, looking strangely composed yet still slightly shocked, didn't say much. She simply replied, "You'll know soon."
Irene was about to ask more when she saw Amora walk out.
Her expression was bleak, her confidence shattered.
"Another one…" Loki muttered under his breath.
Though he didn't know exactly what had happened, he could tell that Amora's state was eerily similar to Fandral's.
Another casualty of bad luck…
"Amora, what have you done?!" Erin stepped forward, demanding answers.
Facing Erin's anger, Amora turned her head stiffly, offering only a blank stare. No reaction.
Only when she met Frigga's gaze did her lifeless eyes flicker with the faintest sign of recognition.
But remembering the spiritual charm she had once been so proud of, now helplessly blocked by Aaron's newly learned barrier, Amora felt a pang of defeat.
"Thanks to you, I can't do anything," she muttered coldly before turning to leave without a second glance.
Frigga didn't stop her—after all, Amora truly couldn't do anything.
If Her Majesty didn't interfere, Loki wouldn't either.
"Irene, I overheard you mention giving Aaron a book on spiritual resistance before you came to me?" Frigga asked, turning to Irene.
"Are you sure he hasn't encountered any magic before?"
Irene froze, a thought forming in her mind. She connected the dots, and a ridiculous idea took root.
Could it be that Aaron had blocked Amora's mind magic?
"No, I can assure you, he only had his first real taste of magic during my class!" Irene protested.
"And he didn't have access to the library to research magic!"
"So, he really only spent an hour learning the mind barrier?"
Frigga's expression shifted. She turned toward the Golden Hall, her mind racing.
Asgard truly had magical monsters!
