With that, the old man reached out and handed Kael a magnificent sword. The sword was coated in a ethereal azure moonlight, and it seemed to pulsate with an otherworldly energy.
Kael took the sword, his hand closing around the hilt with a sense of unease. "What's the big deal about this sword?" he asked, his voice laced with sarcasm.
But as soon as he unsheathed the sword, Kael knew that he was in trouble. A blinding light erupted from the sword, illuminating the entire village. When the light faded, the ground was scarred with a massive hole, and everything in the area was destroyed.
The villagers stared at Kael in shock and horror, their faces pale with fear. "What have you done?" one of them whispered, their voice trembling with fear.
