[...You are currently dying, Keizen.]
An ambiguous, yet unknown girlish suddenly sounded from an unknown direction— in this planet.
A pretty dead planet, a planet full of void and death with the remains of inhabitants due to being devoured of its vitality.
Then suddenly....
It was followed by the appearance of something that even he, a man who had experienced many events in the universe— whose knowledge towards the different things created in the universe rivaled those who stood at the peak.
.....was shocked to the core.
"....."
He, the one who was called as Keizen, slowly looked up to see the thing that appeared infront of him, despite his severe wounds and his grave condition.
His only pupil left dilatedly tried to grasp the uncertainty in his eyes woth a gaping mouth appearing in his face. Also, the subsided shocked of his face was followed by a weak intrigue to the thing flickering into his view.
As it said those word again.
[...You are currently dying, Keizen.]
Well, he already knows that, but you know?
Knowledge was everything for a person like him that even in death, he still strives to know more about the unknown of the universe.
This thing belongs to that group.
An uncertainty.
An unknown.
It's an unrecognizable panel of some sort, a highly advanced at that.
It was floating infront, and he gazed at it with his one eye. It was colored in blue hue and there's some written words that he can't fathom right now.
Due to one reason, he was dying and that resulted in him, losing his extreme focus. It's one of the main indicators of your body slowly shutting down itself when you're dying.
But, he's so indulged in the idea of this thing and its weird origin right now that it gives his body the momentarily strength to study this thing, and think about something.
Well, he thought of those legendary beings that achieved the peak of this universe.
"....This thing must probably be made by someone that achieved the pinnacle of magic and technology...."
He said slowly, as he felt this glimpse of weakness in his body— feeling the increased difficulty of breathing right now.
Those people, despite achieving the peak, fall from grace when they fought against the God of Darkness, Ethos and the Dark Side of the Universe with its troops.
.....with the sole intention of devouring this universe that we lived in.
Thus, a Universal War began with native people of this universe and its Transcendentals against the God of Darkness, Ethos and the Dark Side of the Universe wanting to destroy this universe.
But, that's the story for the next time.
The ending, however, was a completely devastating defeat for the native of this universe.
....where all of the Transcendentals died one by one, in many years of that bloody war.
Well, that war also led him to his current condition; There's holes in different parts of his chest that you can even see his severed internal organs like his pierced lungs, his broken ribcage and his grazed heart, his ravished abdomen that you can literally gaze at the hanging intestines in his tummy, destroyed shoulder blades and a missing left arm, his missing one eye was gouged out from his eyes, and his lips and neck was filled with blood to the brim, lastly....
...a decapitated lower half.
Despite that, he paid no mind in his condition and continued to observe this thing. Death was only the plausible ending for him afterall.
He is the last native of the universe.
Everyone died excluding him.
"S-Shit, I can't even glimpse the foundation of it."
He remorsefully said, looking at the thing floating in his view,— as he was completely lost at the high complexity of the thing that he's observing.
Well, it doesn't matter anymore, doesn't it?
He slowly.... felt the coldness of death; the intense shivering of his body, the much more increased difficulty in breathing, uncontrollable spasm of his muscles, his one eye losing its focus and his heartbeat, it's slowly stopping from beating.
Yet, he stared at the shining stars in the night sky.
Well, these things was devoured completely and lost its light. The planets on the other hand, were destroyed to the end leading to its barren appearance, and gloomy atmosphere.
Well, it doesn't matter anymore....
As he heard the voice of the unknown girl for one last time.
