Seo-Won sat in the lecture hall, chin resting on his hand, staring blankly at his untouched notebook. The professor's voice droned on in the background, but none of it registered. His mind was elsewhere.
No matter how hard I try… I can't focus.
His fingers tightened around his pen, his jaw clenching. No matter how much he tried to shake it off, flashes of that dream kept resurfacing. Ha-Joon's soft gaze, the warmth of his touch…
BADUMP.
His heartbeat betrayed him, thudding loudly in his chest.
Why did it feel so real…?
For a moment, his mind slipped back into the dream—Ha-Joon leaning in close, his breath warm against Seo-Won's neck. The world around them had blurred, leaving only the golden light and the soft curve of Ha-Joon's lips as they parted slightly—
A sharp tap on his shoulder yanked him back to reality.
"Yo, Seo-Won! You okay?"
Seo-Won blinked, momentarily disoriented. He turned to the side, where Jae-Hyun, his ever-observant friend, was smirking at him.
"You've been staring at your notebook for ten minutes," Jae-Hyun teased. "Thinking about someone special?"
Seo-Won scowled and looked away. "Shut up."
"Oho?" Jae-Hyun leaned in, waggling his brows. "That reaction is kinda sus~ Who is it? Spill."
Seo-Won exhaled sharply, rubbing his temples in frustration. No way in hell was he going to admit who had been haunting his thoughts all morning.
Still, even as he tried to push the dream away, Ha-Joon's image lingered stubbornly in his mind.
This is seriously getting annoying…
