A warm breeze drifted through the university walkway, carrying delicate pink petals from the cherry blossom trees that lined the path. The sky stretched bright and clear above, a perfect spring morning. Students walked in pairs and groups, their laughter and chatter filling the air with an excited energy.
"A new beginning... My first day at university," Ha-Joon thought as he walked beneath the trees, his green eyes wide with admiration.
He was twenty, bright-eyed, and undeniably cute, with vibrant orange hair that glowed under the sunlight. He brushed a falling petal off his shoulder and smiled softly.
"It's so beautiful... Maybe this place will be special for me."
Just as the thought crossed his mind, a sudden gust of wind sent a flurry of petals swirling around him. Ha-Joon closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the way they danced through the air.
Then—
"Wah—!"
His foot caught on an uneven stone in the pathway. His body lurched forward, and before he could catch himself, his hands instinctively reached out, grabbing onto something—no, someone—just as he crashed down.
The impact was surprisingly soft. For a second, Ha-Joon processed the warmth beneath him, the scent of clean cologne mixed with the sweetness of cherry blossoms. Slowly, he opened his eyes.
Blue.
A pair of stunning blue eyes stared back at him, filled with amusement. Beneath him lay a breathtakingly handsome man with golden hair that gleamed in the sunlight, his expression unreadable but undeniably attractive.
Ha-Joon's heart nearly stopped.
"Oh no... He's too handsome!"
The stranger smirked. "Falling for me already?"
Ha-Joon's face burned as he scrambled to his feet, nearly tripping over himself in the process. He bowed deeply, his hands shaking slightly.
"I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to—!"
Seo-Won, still seated on the ground, dusted off his shirt lazily. Then he looked up at Ha-Joon, his lips curving into an amused smile.
"You're shaking," he noted. "Did I scare you that much?"
Ha-Joon swallowed hard.
Seo-Won pushed himself up to his full height, easily towering over him. His golden hair shimmered under the morning light, and his confident smirk remained firmly in place.
"Or…" Seo-Won tilted his head slightly, his blue eyes glinting playfully. "Are you nervous because you fell into my arms?"
Ha-Joon took a step back, his heart pounding.
"W-what is this guy saying?!"
Just then, another breeze swept through the walkway, sending cherry blossom petals fluttering around them. Ha-Joon found himself staring up at Seo-Won, unable to look away.
"Why is my heart beating so fast?".
