Chapter 3: The Arrival of Another
The sun peeked through the curtains as Goro stretched and yawned. Another day of school. Another day of training.
He quickly got ready, stuffing his bag with books before heading out. Ever since he started training with Jophiel, life had taken a drastic turn—but in a way, he enjoyed it. The thrill of getting stronger, the mysteries of celestial power… it was all exciting.
As he stepped into the classroom, however, something was… off.
A boy stood in the center of the room, arms crossed, grinning with pride. The entire class was watching him, their faces filled with awe and confusion.
"Who the hell is that?" Goro muttered under his breath, taking a seat.
Suddenly, the boy raised his hand, and a small asteroid-like rock hovered above his palm, glowing with fiery energy.
"Dude, is that magic?!" someone shouted.
"No way! Is he some kind of superhero?!"
The boy, clearly enjoying the attention, smirked. "Heh, you could say that."
His name was Ryusei. And he was about to become a problem.
---
Ryusei vs. Goro
During lunch, Goro sat alone, quietly enjoying his meal. Unlike the others, he wasn't impressed by Ryusei's little display. He had seen real power—Lunar energy, Solar flames—compared to that, a few floating rocks were nothing.
That's when a shadow loomed over him.
"Hey, little boy, what are you doing?" Ryusei sneered, cracking his knuckles.
Goro sighed, barely looking up. "Eating. Can I help you?"
Ryusei smirked. "You seem pretty calm. You scared?"
"Nope."
Without warning, Ryusei swung his fist. Boom!
Before the attack could land, Goro's fist shot out like a bullet—
CRACK!
Ryusei flew backward, crashing onto the cafeteria floor. Gasps filled the room.
"D-Did he just—?"
Ryusei gritted his teeth, glaring at Goro. "Who… the hell are you?"
Goro casually wiped his hand. "Just a normal guy. What's your rank?"
"D-Rank!" Ryusei snapped.
Goro let out a small chuckle. "Yeah… you're cooked."
Ryusei roared in anger, lunging at Goro. But Goro dodged with ease, effortlessly weaving past his attacks.
As he leaped backward, he thought to himself, "If I use Lunar Punch, he might die… I can't go all out."
Instead, he delivered a single, well-placed punch to Ryusei's stomach.
BOOM!
Ryusei staggered, coughing violently. But he wasn't done yet.
"Asteroid Shower!" he yelled, raising his hands.
Small burning meteorites rained down, scorching the cafeteria tables. Students screamed and ran, but Goro moved like a blur, dodging every single one of them.
Among the chaos, he spotted a small girl cowering in fear.
"Don't worry, little girl," he said, shielding her as the last meteorite crashed behind him.
Then, he turned to Ryusei. "That's enough."
He vanished—and in an instant, his fist slammed into Ryusei's chest.
Ryusei's body flew out of the school window.
"Shit!" Goro cursed.
Without hesitation, he jumped after him, catching Ryusei mid-air before they both landed safely on the ground.
---
A New Rival & A New Angel
Ryusei groaned, rubbing his head. "Damn it… I lost?!"
Goro grinned. "Yeah, no kidding."
Instead of anger, Ryusei let out a small laugh. "Heh… not bad. I gotta admit, you're strong."
Goro helped him up. "Come with me. There's someone you need to meet."
They walked together to Goro's house, where Jophiel was waiting.
The angel raised an eyebrow. "And who is this?"
Goro smirked. "A D-Rank celestial."
A soft voice spoke up from behind Ryusei. "Yes. And his guardian angel is here."
A **new angel appeared—**a tall figure with long silver hair and a mysterious gaze.
"I am Uriel," the angel introduced himself. "And I will be training Ryusei."
Goro's eyes widened. "So now I have a training partner?"
"Yes." Jophiel nodded. "Starting today, you two will train together."
A wave of excitement rushed through Goro. For the first time, he had a rival.

Training Begins
The following days were brutal.
Goro continued to refine his Lunar techniques.
Ryusei honed his Asteroid Shower, mastering it completely.
Jophiel pushed Goro to perfect Lunar Shield, but he struggled.
"Damn it… pain in the ass!" Goro groaned after failing to block an attack.
Jophiel smirked. "Keep trying. You'll get there."
Meanwhile, Ryusei was getting stronger as well. His meteors were now faster, hotter, and more destructive.
Despite the harsh training, both boys found time to relax.
They sat at the dinner table, eating a feast prepared by Goro's mother.
"We're gonna become warriors," Goro said, grinning.
Ryusei leaned back, staring at the ceiling. "You know… I once dreamed of this."
Goro smirked. "Well, now it's real."
That night, the two celestial warriors slept peacefully, ready for the battles ahead.
But outside their home, in the shadows of the night—
A mysterious boy watched them from afar.
A smile formed on his lips before he disappeared into the darkness
