Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Early Life and Background

I was born on October 25, 1998, in the bustling city of Gimpo, South Korea. My real name is Lee Minho, but you probably know me as Lee Know. I grew up in a small but loving family with my parents. My family wasn't in the entertainment industry, but they always supported me, even when my dreams seemed far from reality. My parents have always been there for me, no matter how crazy or unrealistic my dreams sounded.

From a young age, I wasn't the kind of kid who would sit still. I was always moving around, getting into trouble, and trying to find ways to express myself. I was a curious kid, always seeking out new activities to keep myself entertained. While other kids were playing sports or reading books, I found a real connection with music and dance. It wasn't something I'd planned on, but it felt right. I remember watching music videos on TV and feeling a strange urge to move with the rhythm. The way the dancers moved so effortlessly caught my attention, and that was when I first thought, "Maybe I could do that too."

I didn't come from a family of dancers or musicians, so my interest was a bit out of the blue. Still, my parents didn't discourage me; they just told me to follow my heart. They were always there, watching me practice in our living room. I would play the music I liked, and although I wasn't perfect, I could feel the music coursing through me. It was like an unspoken connection. My sister was supportive, too. Sometimes, she would giggle at my moves, but she always cheered me on, even when I stumbled.

Growing up, I never really thought about pursuing dance as a career. It was more of a hobby for me, something that made me happy in the moment. But as I got older, I started thinking more seriously about it. I began taking dance classes in my early teens. At first, it was just a way to get better at what I loved, but the more I learned, the more I realized that I wanted to do this on a bigger stage. I wanted to dance not just in my living room but on actual stages. I knew that it wouldn't be easy, but I felt like I had found my true calling.

Little did I know, this would lead me to a journey I never could've imagined. A journey that would bring me here, in front of you, sharing my story.
