Chereads / Beyond The Gods' Will / Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2 : TRUE HISTORY

Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2 : TRUE HISTORY

Orion's mind was already overwhelmed.

He had seen the rise and fall of civilizations, the birth of Qi and Mana, and even the extinction of humanity.

But one question burned within him.

Orion: "You're showing me all of this… Is there something I must do about it?"

The Flame of Life flickered as if amused.

Flame of Life: "For now, you must only watch. Learn the true history—from the beginning to the end.

When you have seen it all… you will understand yourself."

Orion furrowed his brows, confused by the cryptic response.

Yet, something within him trusted those words.

Without another question, he turned back toward the vision unfolding before him.

And the true history of the cosmos continued.

[13.601 Billion Years After the Big Bang]

The Planetary Gods had ruled their respective worlds in silence.

But then—they became aware of each other's existence.

Across Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars, the gods felt the presence of their counterparts.

The Gods of Fire recognized one another.

The Sea Gods sensed the waves beyond their own worlds.

The Sky Gods heard the echoes of distant heavens.

And then—the first rift was torn open.

The first interplanetary portal emerged.

From every world, gates of swirling Qi and Mana formed, linking the four planets.

For the first time in history—the civilizations of the four worlds met.

The beings of Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars were no longer isolated.

They began to interact, trade, and share knowledge.

However… not all interactions were peaceful.

The Gods of Fire became allies across the planets, their flames roaring in unison.

The Gods of Water formed deep friendships, their oceans now connected.

The Gods of Wind found kinship, their breezes whispering across the void.

But…

The Gods of Light and Darkness clashed immediately.

The Earth Titans from different worlds viewed each other as threats.

Dragons and Wyverns declared their dominance over one another.

Chaos-born Gods fought relentlessly, testing their strength.

Where some saw unity, others saw a battlefield.

[13.602 Billion Years After the Big Bang – The Dawn of the Races]

As civilizations flourished, intelligent beings evolved beyond their primal origins.

The first great classification of species began—the Dawn of the Races.

The First Races of the Solar System.....

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Humans – The adaptable and ever-changing beings (Homo-habilis).

🌳 Elves – Born when trees awakened under the Elven Gods.

🐉 Dragons – Mighty beings formed from pure Qi and Mana energy.

🦇 Wyverns – Their wilder, untamed counterparts.

😈 Demons – The children of the Demon Gods, thriving in Mana's darkness.

👹 Monsters – Spawned from the chaotic influence of the Monster Gods.

🧱 Titans – Colossal beings crafted from the bones of the earth.

🌊 Merfolk – The kin of the Sea Gods, ruling the abyss.

☁️ Cloudfolk – Ethereal beings shaped from the heavens, like Cloud Gods.

👼 Divinities – The divine children of the Light Gods.

😇 Angels – The proud warriors of the Sky Gods.

💨 Ventari – Windfolks, children of the Wind Gods.

For the first time—order was established.

The Solar System was no longer just chaos and gods.

It was now a world of races, civilizations, and power.

The Flame of Life flickered as it continued its divine narration.

Flame of Life: "All living beings are connected to the cosmic forces of Qi and Mana. Some are gifted in one… while others wield both."

Orion listened closely. This was the foundation of power itself.

Flame of Life: "When one begins using Mana, their body forms a Mana Core in their heart—a vessel to harness its ethereal power."

"When one learns to control Qi, a Qi Dantian forms in their lower stomach, a source of their raw energy and vitality."

Orion's eyes narrowed. Two separate energy systems… but what happens when they collide?

Flame of Life: "If one being kills another… they can either sell the defeated's Mana Core or Qi Dantian… or absorb it to grow stronger."

Orion clenched his fists. This was not just survival. This was the cycle of power.

Flame of Life: "However, there are rare beings… those who possess both a Mana Core in the heart and a Qi Dantian in the lower stomach.

These individuals are the balance of both forces."

A silence fell.

Orion exhaled. This wasn't just a power system—it was a law of existence.

[13.605 Billion Years After the Big Bang – The Gates Open]

The Flame of Life flickered violently, as if recalling an event that should have never happened.

Flame of Life: "And then… the universe changed forever."

Across the Milky Way, nineteen colossal gates of darkness ripped through the very fabric of space.

Forces beyond comprehension tore reality apart as the First Gate emerged—on Venus.

And from that abyss… something walked out.

A being draped in shadows, its form unstable, shifting between matter and void itself.

Flame of Life: "This was the first of the 19 Pandemics—Dark Mages of destruction, entities that should not exist."

And they were only the beginning.

In 19 separate locations across the galaxy, all 19 Pandemics arrived at once.

Each one an apocalypse given form.

The first Pandemic on Venus stood before the planet's Qi Core and Mana Core, its hollow eyes gleaming with hunger.

And then—it absorbed them.

Flame of Life: "When an unworthy being touches the Qi Core or Mana Core of a planet, a star, or even a black hole,

they should disintegrate into nothing."

"Unless… they are either favored by the celestial body… or stronger than it."

Orion's heart pounded. Favored… or stronger?

Flame of Life: "The Pandemics were neither. They were far beyond the laws of existence."

Within moments, Venus—a world rich in Qi and Mana—collapsed.

The Pandemic had devoured its planetary cores.

But it didn't stop there.

Flame of Life: "Once Venus was stripped of its power, they moved to the next target—Earth."

In the void of space, another Pandemic descended upon Earth.

The planet trembled as its Qi Core and Mana Core were ripped away, leaving it a dying world.

Then came Mars.

Then Mercury.

One by one, the four great planets that once thrived under the World Principles fell lifeless.

But the Pandemics were far from satisfied.

Orion's breath caught as he watched them do the impossible.

They turned to the stars themselves.

Flame of Life: "They absorbed the Mana Cores of stars—all types of stars, Magnatars, and Pulsars."

"But they left behind… the Qi Core present on the Stars."

And when they reached the Black Holes…

Flame of Life: "They stripped the Qi Core of Black Holes… but left behind their Mana Cores."

Orion's fists clenched.

The entire Milky Way—a galaxy once rich in Qi and Mana—was being stripped of its primordial energy.

Flame of Life: "In just two days (by Earth's time), the Pandemics drained the entire Milky Way."

The Flame of Life burned violently, flickering with the echoes of devastation.

Flame of Life: "The Planetary Gods—they never even had the chance to react."

The 19 Pandemics had moved with such terrifying speed that before the gods of each world could fight back, their planets were already dead.

But then—the Galactic Gods finally arrived.

Across the Milky Way, there existed 15 Galactic Gods—beings far beyond the strength of Planetary Gods.

Flame of Life: "When the 15 Galactic Gods of the Milky Way arrived to stop the Pandemics, they thought their divine might would be enough."

"They were wrong."

Two Pandemics turned to face them.

For a moment—there was silence.

Then—

In a single second.

SHRKKK! SLAUGHTER. BOOOOM!

One Pandemic beheaded 8 of the 15 Galactic Gods in an instant.

The remaining 7 barely had time to react—before the second Pandemic erased them from existence.

The Flame of Life pulsed, as if grieving the fallen.

Flame of Life: "The Galactic Gods of the Milky Way were Killed."

Orion staggered, his mind reeling.

Orion : "No Way… Fifteen gods… wiped out by only two Pandemics… I can't even began to Imagine."

And there were seventeen more of them.

Orion : "And what of the Universal Gods?"

Orion's eyes snapped to the flame.

Orion : "The Universal Gods—Chronos, Aion, Nyx, Luxis, Vitae, Mortis, and Kaos… Did they stop the Pandemics? Did they try?"

Flame of Life: "No."

"The Universal Gods did not react."

Flame of Life: "They saw this as nothing more than a local disaster."

"'It is only a single galaxy,' they thought. 'Even if it is stripped of its energy… so what?'"

"'We do not stoop so low as to interfere in mortal warfare.'"

Orion's blood boiled.

This wasn't just mortal warfare. This was annihilation.

And the Universal Gods ignored it.

With no Qi or Mana left, the galaxy was reduced to a dying void.

But there was one last tragedy.

Flame of Life: "The non-naturally habitable planets—the ones that had thrived only because of World Principles—began to decay."

Planets that once housed millions of civilizations simply crumbled to dust.

Entire species—erased.

In the Solar System, there was only one naturally habitable planet—

Earth.

Flame of Life: "The Planetary Gods of Mercury, Venus, and Mars—seeing no hope for their worlds—fled to Earth."

But they did not come alone.

They brought with them handpicked survivors—the last remnants of civilizations from three dying worlds.

Orion's eyes widened.

Flame of Life: "This… is the true reason Earth became the last sanctuary."

The surviving Planetary Gods had no choice. Their worlds were dead, their people in ruins.

But as time passed, these gods were remembered under new names.

[The Gods of Mercury – Later... Norse Mythology]

The war-driven, battle-hardened gods of Mercury became known as the Norse Pantheon.

1️⃣ Odin – King of the gods, wise and all-seeing. (Leader of Mercury's gods.)

2️⃣ Thor – God of Thunder, wields Mjölnir, a weapon infused with Qi.

3️⃣ Loki – Trickster god, master of deception, controls both Qi & Mana.

4️⃣ Tyr – God of War and Honor, once a great war commander of Mercury.

5️⃣ Baldur – God of Light, radiant with pure Qi energy.

6️⃣ Fenrir – A monstrous god-beast, an ancient bio-weapon of Mercury.

7️⃣ Hela – Goddess of Death, tied to Mercury's fallen underworld.

Their legends spread across Earth, but their true origins were long forgotten.

[The Gods of Venus – Later... Egyptian Mythology]

The enigmatic and mystical gods of Venus became the Egyptian Pantheon.

1️⃣ Ra – Sun God, supreme ruler, master of Solar Qi. (Leader of Venus's gods.)

2️⃣ Anubis – Guardian of the Dead, wielder of Death Mana.

3️⃣ Osiris – God of Resurrection, controlled the rebirth of Venus's fallen.

4️⃣ Set – God of Chaos and Storms, a force of destructive Mana.

5️⃣ Horus – Warrior God of the Sky, infused with celestial Qi.

6️⃣ Thoth – God of Wisdom, keeper of Venus's forbidden knowledge.

7️⃣ Bastet – Goddess of Protection, shielded Venus's last survivors.

Venus was a planet of mysticism, resurrection, and balance, which shaped the Egyptian myths.

[The Gods of Mars – Later... Greek Mythology]

The fiery and ambitious gods of Mars became the Greek Pantheon.

1️⃣ Zeus – King of the gods, wielding the strongest Qi Lightning. (Leader of Mars's gods.)

2️⃣ Poseidon – God of the Seas, controlled the water realms of Mars.

3️⃣ Hades – Lord of the Underworld, tied to Mars's lost Mana Core.

4️⃣ Ares – God of War, the ultimate warrior of Mars.

5️⃣ Athena – Goddess of Strategy and Wisdom, Mars's greatest tactician.

6️⃣ Apollo – God of Light and Prophecy, foresaw the fall of Mars.

7️⃣ Hecate – Goddess of Magic, one of the few to wield both Qi and Mana.

Mars was a war-driven, conquest-fueled world, and its gods reflected that nature.

Unlike the other gods, the Earth Gods chose isolation.

Flame of Life: "While the other gods took new forms among humanity, the Gods of Earth did not. They did something no other gods did.

They went into seclusion."

Orion's eyes narrowed.

Flame of Life: "They knew that the Pandemics were not a temporary disaster. They knew that something far worse was coming.

And so… they prepared."

The Flame of Life pulsed as it continued revealing the forgotten past.

Flame of Life: "When the refugees from Mercury, Venus, and Mars arrived, they were still divine beings—imbued with the power of Qi and Mana.

Same as Earth who lost it's Qi and Mana Core."

Orion narrowed his eyes.

Flame of Life: "Now without Earth's Qi and Mana Core, Over time, the very nature of these beings changed."

The once divine and powerful races transformed.

Humans (Homo-Habilis) – Their bodies adapted, but they lost their divine strength.

Elves – Became more in tune with nature, but lost their ancient Qi control.

Dragons & Wyverns – Their massive forms weakened, some devolving into primal beasts.

Demons – Retained some dark energy, but were no longer pure manifestations of Mana.

Monsters – Became mindless or evolved into new creatures.

Titans & Dwarves – Lost their massive divine stature, adapting to Earth's gravity.

Cloudfolk & Ventari – Once wind-based beings, now more grounded and mortal.

Merfolk – Retained an affinity for water but lost their deep-sea dominion.

Angels & Divinities – Their celestial power faded, leaving only fragments of their former glory.

Flame of Life: "Some of them became the ancestors of advanced humans."

"And others… became known as the dinosaurs."

Orion's mind reeled.

The great beasts of prehistory—the dinosaurs—weren't just mindless creatures. They were the devolved remnants of once-mighty races.

Then, catastrophe struck.

Flame of Life: "65 million years before your death… or 13.73B Years after the Big Bang a great asteroid descended upon Earth."

BOOOOOM! EXTINCTION.!! DESTRUCTION.!!!

The impact was cataclysmic.

95% of all normal beings were annihilated.

The sky burned. The oceans boiled. The earth cracked.

But one thing was certain—

The gods survived.

Flame of Life: "Though the gods endured, they suffered the greatest loss in history, 70% of their power was erased.

Even the mightiest Planetary Gods were crippled. But—not the Earth Gods."

Flame of Life: "The Gods of Earth… remained untouched. They were still in seclusion, preserving their powers."

The surviving Planetary Gods, weakened and in ruins, made a decision.

Flame of Life: "With no other choice… they too went into seclusion."

The gods, once rulers of four planets, had vanished.

And Earth was now truly left to its own fate.

The Flame of Life flickered, its voice carrying the weight of time itself.

Flame of Life: "And so, the Earth continued to Recover, Ice age Struck - Passed and Life Evolved and Evolved."

The world that had once been ruled by divine beings was now reshaped into something new.

From the ashes of the past, new species emerged.

🐾 Advanced animals adapted to the changing environment.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Advanced humans (Homo sapiens) took their first steps into civilization.

They had no knowledge of the gods that came before.

They had no idea of the Qi and Mana that once flowed freely.

To them, the world had always been this way.

But in reality, they were simply walking on the ruins of a forgotten age.

Flame of Life: "Human civilization advanced. Kingdoms rose. Empires fell. And eventually… after approximately 65M years you were born."

Orion's heart clenched.

The world he had fought for, bled for, and died for… was just a tiny piece in an endless cycle of history.

Flame of Life: "In the year 202 BCE, the war between Qin and Kan raged on, You stood as a 3,000-man commander under General Ri Shin.

And then… you died."

Orion's breath was steady. He had accepted his death. But now, after seeing the universe's true history, his final battle felt so small.

Time fast-forwarded once more.

Flame of Life: "For approximately 2,100 years after your death or approximately 1900AD, humanity continued to evolve. They grew stronger—not through Qi or Mana, but through knowledge."

Then, something new was discovered.

⚡ Electricity.

Flame of Life: "For the first time in history, humans tapped into a different form of energy—one that had nothing to do with Qi or Mana."

"And thus… the Industrial Evolution Era began."

Orion's eyes widened.

Qi and Mana had always been the pillars of power. But electricity? That was something else entirely.

For the first time, humans were evolving without the help of divine forces.

And that—changed everything.

The Flame of Life flickered, its glow dimming as if the memories it recalled were filled with regret.

Flame of Life: "By the year 3700 AD, humanity had ascended to a full-fledged Type 2 Civilization."

"They harnessed the power of entire planets and stars. No longer were they bound by the limits of their homeworld."

"And by 7300 AD, they became a Type 3 Civilization, wielding the energy of Black Holes, Magnatars, and Pulsars."

Orion's jaw tightened.

Humanity had mastered the cosmos. They had discovered alien life, formed alliances, and even ruled over entire systems.

They had everything.

And yet… it wasn't enough.

Flame of Life: "But as they sought to expand beyond the Milky Way, they encountered something impossible to surpass."

The Void between galaxies.

Flame of Life: "This endless expanse between galaxies… was not just empty space. It was the domain of the Void God."

Orion's eyes narrowed.

Flame of Life: "To cross it, one required Qi, Mana, or both."

Orion inhaled sharply.

Flame of Life: "But humanity had long since stripped of Qi and Mana. And so, they remained trapped."

Orion clenched his fists. The very energy that once defined humanity's past was the key to their future.

But they had forgotten it.

And in their desperation to advance further… they turned against each other.

[The First Great Galactic War – 3.2 Billion Years of Destruction]

Flame of Life: "Without a path forward, humanity's ambition twisted into madness. They sought dominance over each other. They fought for resources, for power, for control of a galaxy they could no longer escape."

And then— Near 8450AD.

The First Great Galactic War began.

BOOOOOOM! WAAARRRRR!

The conflict spanned the entire Milky Way.

Planets burned in nuclear fire.

Stars shattered under the force of Quantum Weapons.

Black Holes were weaponized against entire civilizations.

Flame of Life: "This war lasted for 3.2 billion years."

"Civilizations rose and fell. Entire planetary systems were erased."

"What once was a thriving galactic empire… became a battlefield of extinction."

Orion's heart pounded.

Humanity had reached god-like power—only to become the architects of their own destruction.

The Flame of Life flickered dimly, as if mourning the destruction it had witnessed.

Flame of Life: "And this… is the Milky Way, 17 billion years after the Big Bang. There is no life here."

"Only debris and cosmic radiation, remnants of the madness that was once called humanity."

Orion stared into the abyss.

Where there were once thriving civilizations, there was now only silence.

Massive warships floated like garbage, drifting endlessly.

Broken planets and shattered moons were reduced to cosmic rubble.

Stars were dying, their cores collapsing into nothingness.

Flame of Life: "The war left behind only destruction. Millions of star systems were wiped out."

"The Milky Way itself… is no more."

Orion clenched his fists.

A once-great galactic empire… reduced to dust.

TO BE CONTINUED.
