Chereads / Beyond The Gods' Will / Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 5 : ELDORIAN-EMPIRE

Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 5 : ELDORIAN-EMPIRE

The dense rainforest stretched endlessly around Orion, its towering trees whispering in the wind.

After completing his daily quest and battling the Elder Goblins, his body still bore the faint echoes of exhaustion, yet his mind remained sharp.

Three hours had passed since he set out to find shelter, but instead of refuge, he stumbled upon something far more intriguing.

A city.

Nestled deep within the heart of the jungle, it stood as a marvel of civilization—a hidden bastion untouched by time.

The roads, paved with smooth stone, stretched far and wide, lined with glowing lanterns that pulsed faintly with an unknown energy.

The walls, towering and made of intricately carved obsidian rock, bore symbols unfamiliar to Orion. This was no mere settlement;

this was an empire's outpost.

Orion's gaze sharpened as he observed the people within.

Dwarves, stocky and sturdy, hammered away at metalwork, their deep voices echoing through the air.

Elves, their figures elegant and refined, strode through the streets with an air of wisdom and grace.

Among them, primitive yet strong-built humans—Homo habilis—walked, their eyes filled with curiosity and caution.

Yet, as Orion stepped onto the stone-paved road, an unsettling realization struck him.

He stood out.

The crowd began to slow. Some stared, others whispered.

Orion's clothing, his physique, even his very presence—he was unlike anything they had seen before.

A Homo sapiens among Homo habilis, elves, and dwarves.

He clenched his fists, instinct screaming at him to prepare for hostility.

Yet, before tension could escalate further, a faint, crackling warmth flared in his chest.

FWOOOSH!

A wisp of blue flame flickered into existence before him, invisible to all but Orion.

"Zynx," Orion muttered under his breath.

The Flame of Life Contacted Orion, a voice echoed in his mind. "You're drawing too much attention."

Orion exhaled slowly. "You think?"

The flame flickered with amusement before it pulsed, its energy shifting.

Zynx, now at 1% of his strength, emerged from Orion's INVENTORY/SMALL WORLD.

[INV. is a Like a Garden Which will continue to Expand by Levelling UP, Here Orion Can Do ANYTHING, He's LIKE A GOD HERE, and Can Store Anything/Anyone there]

[If you want a Person in INV. you'll have to get there Permission.]

He shimmered momentarily before camouflaging himself, blending into the environment.

"I can understand their stares," Orion whispered. "But their words? Nothing."

Zynx remained silent for a moment before responding, "You need to communicate to survive in this world."

Orion sighed. "No kidding."

Zynx pulsed once more before a faint golden glow enveloped Orion's head.

DING!

🔹 [Skill Acquired: Divine Linguistics Lv. ??]

📖 Allows the user to understand and speak all languages fluently.

Orion's eyes widened slightly as the noise around him shifted.

The once-garbled words of the locals now carried meaning, as if he had always known their tongue.

He turned to Zynx. "You really are useful."

A smug hum resonated from the flame. "Took you long enough to realize."

Suppressing a grin, Orion nodded. "Thanks."

With his newfound ability, Orion delved deeper into the city, observing its inhabitants and listening in on conversations.

The more he learned, the clearer the picture became.

This city was a part of the Eldorian Empire.

From what he gathered, the Eldorian Empire spanned vast territories, uniting multiple races under one rule.

It was an empire of war and wisdom, known for its relentless expansion and pursuit of knowledge.

The city Orion stood in was one of its many outposts, a thriving hub of trade, information, and power.

As Orion wandered further, he felt a shift in the air. Something about this empire intrigued him.

Perhaps fate had led him here for a reason.

With a determined glint in his eyes, he took his first true step into the unknown.

The city bustled with life as Orion moved through the winding streets, the stone-paved roads stretching far and wide.

Though the language barrier was no longer an issue, the curious and suspicious gazes of the locals still lingered.

His Homo sapiens figure made him an anomaly—an oddity among the sturdy dwarves, elegant elves, and primitive Homo habilis.

He needed to blend in.

His eyes scanned the marketplace until they landed on a small shop tucked between two larger buildings.

The sign above the entrance bore an emblem of flowing fabric, its golden thread shimmering under the midday sun.

The Cloak Weaver's Den.

Orion stepped inside, the scent of freshly woven cloth and herbal dyes filling his nostrils.

Bolts of fabric lined the walls, ranging from common wool to rare enchanted silks.

Behind the counter stood an elderly dwarf with a thick, greying beard, his sharp eyes appraising Orion the moment he entered.

The dwarf's voice was gruff yet steady. "A traveler, are ye? You don't look like yer from around here."

Orion nodded slightly. "Something like that."

The dwarf leaned forward, squinting. "Strange build ye got. What can I do for ye?"

Orion met the old man's gaze. "I need a cloak—something dark, long, and with a hood."

The dwarf chuckled. "Aye, lookin' to disappear, are ye?" He turned, rummaging through the back before pulling out a sleek black cloak.

The material was thick yet flexible, woven with reinforced stitching along the seams.

"This here's good for travel. Keeps ya warm in the cold, cool in the heat. Five gold coins."

Orion reached into his INVENTORY and retrieved something heavier than mere gold.

Nine Elder Goblin corpses.

The dwarf's eyes widened as Orion placed the lifeless bodies on the counter, neatly stacked.

The scent of blood and battle clung to them, yet they had been preserved well.

Orion's voice remained even. "How much are these worth?"

The dwarf stroked his beard, poking at the goblin hides, checking their teeth and nails.

"Elder goblins, eh? Not bad, not bad at all. Alchemists could use their bones for powders, and their skins make fine leather. Tell ye what—these are worth at least sixty gold."

Orion nodded. "Then I'll take the cloak and fifty-five gold in return."

The dwarf let out a hearty laugh. "Ye drive a hard bargain, traveler. Done!" He swiftly wrapped the cloak, handed it to Orion, and passed him a small pouch jingling with gold. "Pleasure doin' business."

Orion pulled the cloak over his shoulders, letting the hood drape over his face.

The moment it settled, he could feel the stares around him lessen. He was no longer an oddity—just another traveler in a busy city.

Orion continued his journey through the city, his next destination already in mind.

The rhythmic clang of metal against metal led him to a large open forge, where sparks flew into the air with every strike of a hammer.

The heat was intense, waves of warmth radiating from the furnaces lined against the back wall.

A broad-shouldered dwarf, his arms covered in soot and muscle, was deep in work, shaping a glowing ingot with expert precision.

Orion stepped forward. "I need steel, wood, and crafting tools."

The dwarf paused, wiping sweat from his brow before giving Orion a once-over.

"Steel and wood I can give ye, but what do ye need craftin' tools for?"

Orion kept his expression neutral. "I intend to improve my skills—crafting and artifact refinement."

The dwarf smirked. "Ambitious. Don't see many warriors lookin' to shape their own weapons. Usually, they just want 'em handed to 'em."

Orion remained silent.

The blacksmith nodded approvingly before listing the prices. "Fifty gold for what ye ask. That gets ye a fine set of hammers, chisels, and a carving knife, long with enough steel and wood for a solid start."

Orion tossed the pouch of gold onto the counter. "Done."

The dwarf chuckled, collecting the payment before motioning to an assistant.

Within moments, crates of neatly stacked wood, metal bars, and well-kept tools were placed before Orion.

"Good luck, lad," the dwarf said with a nod. "May yer hands be steady and yer steel unbreakable."

Orion stored everything into his INVENTORY, his mind already forming plans.

With these materials, he could refine his skills, craft his own weapons, and create something beyond what this world had ever seen.

As he left the forge, Zynx's camouflaged form flickered beside him.

"So, you're really planning to build everything yourself?" Zynx mused.

Orion smirked beneath his hood. "If I can master war, I can master creation."

The flame pulsed with amusement. "Now that... I look forward to seeing."

With his cloak concealing his identity, gold still in his pocket, and the means to craft his own path,

Orion was ready to face whatever the Eldorian Empire had to offer.

Orion knew that in this era, only one supercontinent existed—Pangaea.

However, scattered around its vast landmass were countless isolated islands, untouched and uninhabited.

If he wanted a true base of operations, away from prying eyes, he needed to find one.

Using his Omniscience, he accessed the knowledge of ancient cartographers and navigators.

Maps and mental blueprints flooded his mind, detailing potential locations where he could build, train, and innovate without interference.

With his newfound wealth and materials, he needed one last thing—a way to travel.

His next goal was clear.

Find a ship, build a vessel, or create his own means of reaching an unclaimed island.

The Eldorian Empire may be vast, but Orion intended to carve his own dominion, one that no empire or god could touch.

Orion Went Out of the City, then eventually reached plains.

The dense rainforest stretched endlessly behind Orion as he stood in a large clearing, far from the Eldorian Empire.

The ground beneath him was untouched, the air thick with raw Qi and Mana, swirling through the atmosphere like an unseen force.

He exhaled.

Before him lay a massive pile of steel, wood, and various metals—the foundation of his next creation.

A jet from 2300 AD.

Not just any aircraft—one modified for this primitive world, fueled by Qi and Mana.

He rolled his shoulders. Time to begin.

Step 1: The Frame.

🔹 Qi-Infused Hammer & Anvil

Orion crafted a forging hammer, embedding a Qi Crystal into its core.

The hammer's shockwaves compressed the metal, removing imperfections at a molecular level.

The anvil absorbed excess heat and pressure, ensuring precision in shaping the frame.

BOOM! CLANG! Sparks flew as Orion pounded metal, shaping the frame's reinforced skeleton.

Hours passed.

By nightfall, the jet's sleek, black metal exoskeleton stood, reinforced with Qi-imbued steel, making it tougher than modern alloys.

Zynx flickered into visibility.

"I've seen madness before, but this? This is something else."

Orion smirked. "We're only getting started."

Step 2: The Wings – The Swords of the Sky

🔹 Forging the Wing Frame

Using Qi Vibration Forging, Orion shaped the wing structure, ensuring it was both light and flexible while remaining unbreakable.

He reinforced the leading edges with a Mana-Fused Alloy, allowing them to withstand high-speed air friction.

🔹 Aerodynamic Runes

Orion engraved lightweight enhancement runes, reducing drag and increasing lift.

Each wing could self-adjust mid-flight, optimizing aerodynamics in real time.

🔹 Mana-Infused Coating

The wings shimmered as Orion applied a thin layer of enchanted metal, making them resistant to lightning, extreme heat,

and high-speed pressure. By dawn, the wings were complete, stretching 20 meters outward.

Step 3: Height Control Elevators.

🔹 Qi-Infused elevator Blades

Orion hammered out two large Elevators, positioned rear of the wings for stable takeoff and hovering.

🔹 Hover Stability System

A Mana-Stabilized Gyroscope was installed beneath the cockpit, auto-balancing the aircraft during takeoff.

He tested it.

VRRRRRM! The Gyroscope roared, the air beneath them warping as the Frame lifted slightly before settling.

Success.

Step 4: Direction Control Elevator.

🔹 Orion forged One Elevator and place it on Top-Back side steering and mid-air maneuvering.

With Omniscience, he adjusted the angle of attack, ensuring instant directional control.

🔹 Mana-Linked Response System, Orion engraved a Qi-Mana Feedback Loop that allowed the Elevator to react instantly to joystick movement.

This would make the jet turn and bank sharper than anything from 2300 AD.

Step 5: Oxygen Tanks.

🔹 Orion used Qi Compression to extract pure oxygen from the atmosphere.

He stored it in reinforced Mana-Infused Tanks, ensuring continuous cockpit airflow at high altitudes.

🔹 Automated Air Recycling

A small artifact-powered device would recycle exhaled CO₂, converting it back into breathable oxygen.

With this, the cockpit would have breathable air for 24H Non-Stop.

Step 6: Hydrogen & Oxygen Fuel Tanks – The Heart of Power

🔹 Extracting Hydrogen & Oxygen

Orion used Qi Manipulation to pull H₂ and O₂ from the air, compressing them into separate fuel tanks.

🔹 Mana-Reinforced Fuel Tanks

The tanks were crafted from heat-resistant metal, ensuring stable storage of high-pressure hydrogen.

A Mana-Stabilization Rune prevented leaks or explosions.

FUEL STORAGE! Acquired.

Step 7: Joysticks – Controlling System.

🔹 Qi-Linked Control System

Orion crafted dual joysticks, linked to the propellers and main jet thrusters.

Engraved reaction-enhancing runes, ensuring split-second control.

Step 8: Holographic Radar.

🔹 Orion constructed a holographic radar system, projecting a 100km radius view of the surroundings.

Step 9: Seat & Safety Systems

🔹 Forging the Cockpit Seat

Orion crafted an ergonomic, reinforced seat from Mana-Flex Alloy.

Installed Shock Absorbing Runes, reducing G-force impact on his body.

🔹 Mana-Enhanced Seatbelts

Auto-locks in emergencies.

Can withstand crashes up to Mach 5.

Now, he could survive the worst turbulence.

Step 10: Jet Engines.

🔹 Qi-Infused Turbine Blades

Orion engraved the blades with high-speed optimization runes, reducing energy loss.

Used heat-resistant alloys, ensuring continuous operation without overheating.

🔹 Self-Sustaining Energy Cycle

The Qi-Reactor Core absorbed surrounding energy, ensuring fuel efficiency was maximized.

Step 11: Landing System & Tyres.

🔹 Forging the Landing Gear Frame

Using Qi-Infused Steel, Orion hammered out the retractable landing gear, ensuring lightweight yet highly durable support.

Engraved shock-absorption runes.

🔹 Crafting the Tires.

Mana-Flex Resin from trees, mixing it with Qi-tempered fibers to create high-resilience, pressure-resistant tires.

🔹 Hydraulic Landing Assist

Installed a Mana-Pressure Hydraulic System For Wheels. Ensured stable touchdowns, preventing skidding at high speeds.
