Chapter 3 - BATTLE FOR SURVIVAL

Chapter 3

Blaze sprinted through the forest, the black-cloaked wizard hot on his heels. The wizard, confident in his own abilities, unleashed a basic fire spell, expecting it to engulf Blaze. However, he underestimated the young warrior's speed, endurance, and strength.

Blaze dodged the flames with ease, using the elements of surprise to his advantage. He suddenly changed direction, using a nearby tree as cover. The wizard, caught off guard, stumbled forward, his momentum carrying him past Blaze's hiding spot.

Blaze took advantage of the distraction to make a run for it. He sprinted through the underbrush, his feet pounding against the earth. However, his escape was short-lived, as the wizard quickly regained his footing and gave chase.

The pursuit was almost comical, with Blaze darting between trees and the wizard stumbling after him. Blaze's speed and agility allowed him to evade the wizard's attacks, but he knew he couldn't keep this up for much longer.

Just as the wizard was about to catch up, Blaze heard a voice behind him.

"Ah-ah, I don't think so!"

Blaze turned to see the Brown Cloak man, who had been captured and bound by another black-cloaked wizard. The scene was almost absurd, with the Brown Cloak man grinning mischievously despite being trussed up like a turkey.

The black-cloaked wizard, frustrated by Blaze's escape, turned to the Brown Cloak man. "You're not going to interfere this time!"

The Brown Cloak man chuckled. "Oh, I'm not going to interfere. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the show."

Blaze, confused by the exchange, was quickly caught by the wizard and bound alongside the Brown Cloak man. The two wizards, eager to claim the mysterious chest, began to try and open it.

Their attempts were almost laughable, with the wizards stumbling over each other and bickering like children. The Brown Cloak man, still grinning, offered sarcastic comments from the sidelines.

After an eternity of failures, the wizards turned to the Brown Cloak man. "Fine," one of them growled. "You're going to tell us how to open this thing."

The Brown Cloak man shrugged. "I can tell you, but you're not going to like it. You need to form a magic formation together to break the seal."

The wizards exchanged skeptical glances, but their desire for the chest's contents overrode their doubts. They began to form the magic formation, with the Brown Cloak man guiding them.

As the wizards completed the magic formation, the Brown Cloak man winked at Blaze. "Time to leave!" he whispered.

Blaze's eyes widened as he realized the formation was about to explode. The Brown Cloak man tossed the chest to Blaze, who caught it instinctively.

"Run!" the Brown Cloak man yelled, his voice urgent.

Blaze didn't need to be told twice. He turned and sprinted away from the formation, the chest clutched tightly in his arms. The wizards, still trapped in the formation, shouted in rage and frustration.

The formation erupted into a massive explosion annihilating anything on its path.As he soared through the explosion, Blaze's mind was filled with thoughts of anger, desperation, and guilt. He was angry at the black-cloaked wizards for destroying his village, desperate to prove himself to the world, and guilty for not being able to save his home.

Before the explosion, the Brown Cloak man had informed Blaze about the evil organization that the Black Cloak wizards came from. They were known as the Order of the Black Flame, and they sought to use the contents of the chest to rule over the entire eight continents.

The Brown Cloak man had urged Blaze to keep the chest safe and give it to someone called Azarath. Blaze's mission.

Just as he was about to pass out, Blaze heard a voice in his head.

"After millions of years, a chosen one has appeared. Congratulations host, for obtaining the Chaos System."

Blaze's last thought before he passed out was: "What the fuck?".
