Mordred was fast.
But Goku was faster.
She struck with all her strength, slashing in rapid succession—each blow capable of tearing through castle walls.
Yet Goku dodged. Effortlessly.
Left. Right. Duck. Pivot. Lean back just enough to let the blade graze the air in front of him.
Mordred's frustration grew. "Quit dodging!"
Goku chuckled. "I mean, you're the one trying to hit me."
"RAAAAH!"
With a roar, she raised Clarent high.
Mana exploded around her as she poured everything into a single, overwhelming attack.
"CLARENT BLOOD ARTHUR!"
The battlefield was bathed in crimson light as the blast roared toward Goku—
And then, with a flick of his wrist—
He slapped it aside.
The beam carved through the earth, obliterating a distant mountain instead.
Mordred's heart nearly stopped.
Goku whistled. "Whoa! That was pretty strong!" He grinned. "You almost got me there!"
Mordred stared, panting. "Y-You… You…"
She clenched her fists, frustration boiling over.
Then, a voice rang through the battlefield.
"Enough."
A new presence descended. A figure clad in silver armor, a flowing white cape trailing behind her.
The Ruler of the Holy Grail War had arrived.
Jeanne d'Arc.
She stepped forward, golden gaze fixed on Goku.
"Warrior," she called out. "You are not bound by the Grail."
Goku blinked. "Huh?"
Jeanne's eyes narrowed. "You do not belong in this war."
A divine aura radiated from her. "As Ruler, I must ask you to leave."
Goku scratched his head. "Aww, man… not this again."
Mordred, still catching her breath, scoffed. "Hah… yeah, good luck with that, saint."
Jeanne tightened her grip on her banner.
"If you will not leave willingly—" Her voice was firm. "—then I shall make you."
Goku blinked. Then—
His grin widened.
"Now that's what I'm talkin' about!"
The Saiyan dropped into his stance once more.
The battlefield was about to witness yet another impossible fight.
