Chapter 5 - A life of slavery.

Davos felt dizzy and could see several images flash before his eyes as he regained consciousness and then fainted again. Scenes of burning villages, disemboweled bodies, screams of suffering were some of the things he managed to capture at a glance. When he finally managed to regain consciousness, the young man realized that he was lying on the floor on a pile of dry straw. He then calmly analyzed his surroundings, trying to finally understand where he was. From what he could see, Davos was inside a large cave, as he could see that both the ceiling and the walls were made of stone. In a corner of the room, on wooden tables and shelves, he saw several bottles with strangely colored liquids, some containing human parts, others animal parts. There were also large shelves with books and scrolls rolled up on a wall to his left. When he focused his vision more on a beam of light, he could see that there was an exit to his right. When Davos found the courage to stand up, he realized that there was no more pain, the wounds were gone.

~ Sound of footsteps~

A chill ran through his body, because right next to him on a dimly lit wall between the bookshelves and the strange glass was the orc, standing looking at him patiently, the same one who had knocked him out, was calmly running his hand over his long beard, he walked towards the young man and unlike the other orcs, his body didn't have many muscles.

- @#$%@!.

The orc tried to communicate with Davos, but he couldn't understand a single word.

Seeing the young man's confusion, the orc approached while raising his right hand, his palm began to glow and Davos was stunned.

Without him noticing, the orc's hand touched his head and a wave of pain collapsed his mind, it seemed as if Davos had put his head in boiling water, without him noticing his body was falling, giving several spasms while his eyes rolled back in pain.

In Davos's head, a wave of information began to form, dialects he had never even heard, but with each passing second he understood more and more. In the end, he realized that he now knew two new languages as well as their writings. One was the native language of the orcs, the other was a very ancient and complex language. Its words carried a kind of ancient power. It was known as the Viron language.

- I think you can understand me now, don't you, boy?

The old orc spoke as he sat on a bench, keeping his eyes on the boy, waiting for his reaction.

- You bastard, I swear I will take revenge for what you did to my village. I will not stop until I exterminate all of you.

As soon as a resolution came to his mind, Davos exploded in pure rage.

(Do you think that just because you helped me understand you, do you really think I will be grateful to you? Even if you threw me in boiling water, I would bow to you).

Davos's thoughts were running wild.

– You don't understand, do you? From now on you belong to me, now you will be what I tell you to be.

With an angry face, the orc speaks in a guttural voice.

– From now on you will not have a name and you will be my study guinea pig.

As the old man speaks, he takes a necklace from his bag and walks slowly towards the young man.

– No.

Davos tries to run away, but an invisible force falls on his shoulders and keeps him pressed to the ground.

As soon as he realizes it, the old man has already placed the red beaded necklace around his neck, and at the same time a tingling sensation runs through his entire body.

– From now on, you must never disrespect me again.

The orc speaks with a devilish smile.

Davos understands the terror that awaits him at the hands of this green-skinned monster.
