William nodded and left with such happiness that he won't spend another minute in this packed ballroom. Close to the entrance there are always carts who take people to Karlo and back. He got on one and enjoyed the slightly cold breeze. „This is life"- he thought to himself. William couldn't wait to go to the hill and look at the fireworks. They were most beautiful when you watched them in the forest. After that, as his mom knew, he would visit a friend and stay overnight or for several days. However this wasn't the exact truth. He always felt bad for lying to his mother but he couldn't just tell her that he camps in the forest and that friend he stays at doesn't even exist, can he? William started seeing the first trees from the forest and five minutes later there he was- the beautiful Karlo. He payed the cart merchant and made his way to the hill. Because this hill was pretty famous, he knew there would be many people, but thankfully a year ago he found himself a secret secluded spot. He went there and sat on the ground. He closed his eyes and breathed in deeply enjoying the fresh air while he could hear the crickets singing their song around him. Suddenly William heard something else besides the crickets- faint crying, followed by „Can somebody help?". The man jumped and tried to follow the sounds, which seems, were coming a little bit deeper in the forest. On another secret spot Ayra put on her coat and sat on the ground, impatiently waiting for the fireworks that she so wished to see. Until she heard someone's voice asking for help. She got up and tried to determine which direction was the voice coming from. She started running towards it but meanwhile, an unexpected thought came to her mind-„What is lady Eva doing in the forest? She's sick, after all". Ayra decided to not pay attention to this thought because it was just impossible. Lady Eva was an old woman who recently got very sick and hasn't really gone out of her house, let alone climb up the hill and go into the big forest by herself. Such nonsense.
