The Aftermath
The morning after their passionate encounter, a sense of unease settled over Lily. She was a therapist, Coal was her patient. Had she crossed a line? Coal, on the other hand, felt a sense of clarity he hadn't experienced in years. He knew, with absolute certainty, that Lily was his mate. He was determined to pursue her, regardless of the professional boundaries they'd crossed. He visited Lily at her home, not as a client but as a man in love. He spoke of his feelings, his wolf's recognition of their bond, his desire to be with her.
