Chapter 9:
Confrontation and Choice
The choice to help the Newland pack quickly came to light, that they used it as a decoy to gain Coals trust.
Coal, with the support of his pack, confronted the Newland wolves. He explained the circumstances surrounding Laura's death, the accident that had spiraled out of control. He pleaded for peace, for an end to the cycle of violence and asked to please bring the packed back that Coal would help the Newland pack when needed. The Newland leader, consumed by grief and rage, refused to listen. A battle ensued, a brutal clash between two packs. Coal fought fiercely, driven by his love for Lily, his desire to protect her.
Many of the Newland pack where hurt but Coal orded that the Shadow pack I'd to not kill any of the Newland pack but to wound then so as to get them to cease attack.
Coal went up to the Newland pack leader, and head butted him, making him stumbl back but he regained his footing and punched Coal on the jaw, Coal being talked and bigger took it with a grain of salt the second hit Coal dodge and speared dive the Newland pack leader and the 2 of then crashed throught a water barrel. Coal lifted his fist to hit the Newland pack leader but stopped and asked truce or die, if you truce I hold you to it if you break it this time you will die..... Decide now!!!!!
