A Darker Curse
Zara's POV
I clenched my fists, my entire body trembling with rage as I glared at Lior.
I didn't know how to get here or if he had followed me but one thing was clear: I promised to break his bones if he crossed my path.
"Leave," I snarled. "Before I do something stupid you will regret it."
Lior chuckled, taking a slow step forward. "You won't," he said smoothly. "Because I'm the only one who has the information you want. I'm the only one who can tell you who your rival is, and the funny thing is that he's closer than you think."
My wolf growled inside me.
"Kill him," Vorgris hissed. "He's toying with you. He's trying to play a sick game."
But I forced myself to stay calm.
I narrowed my eyes. "I don't care what you know," I spat. "I don't need your information. And I sure as hell don't need you."
I turned on my heel, ready to walk away—
But he moved too fast.
