Chapter 7 - PLANE TICKET

In Westland City International airport, Mr. Eddy is seen boarding a plane from Westland City to Greenland City.

The air surrounding him smelt nice, he walked majestically with confidence and self importance into the plane.

He sat on his seat comfortably, he made sure to book up a ticket beside the window, so as to assure his peace is not disturbed.

"It's been a very long day." He grumbled immediately after sitting.

Mr. Eddy sat down patiently waiting for the others to arrive. One minute later an old man and a girl walked right next to Eddy's seat. He looked out the window and saw more passengers coming towards the plane; then he heard the old man say to the girl.

"Be a good child and don't disturb grandpa." The old man said and the girl nodded in response.

"Also, now sit on your seat while I strap your seat belt; don't make any noise; unless you need something don't wake me." The girl nodded again before sitting on her seat, letting her grandfather strapped her seat belt. After that the old man did same to himself.

Then two minutes later the voice from the cockpit notified the passengers that they are ready for takeoff.

Up in the air the little girl was lonely and bored after staying put, not speaking to anybody for a while. So she looked round to observe her surrounding and noticed those closer to her didn't have their seat belt on, except her grandpa who was asleep even the man beside her didn't. His eyes were closed.

So she thought to herself. "Is he asleep?, I will find out and see." She thought with excitement; after a long while of boredom, she finally found something interesting to do.

She unstrapped her seat belt and walked gingerly to the man, and waved at his at his face to see if would respond but he didn't.

She decided to tap him and immediately his eyes glared open. Staring indecisively, he didn't know what to do, whether to chase the girl away or to hear what she has to say.

"Hello sir" The girl spoke first. She looked at him with excitement and great expectations in her eyes.

"uhmmm" Eddy grumbled back in response. Too tired to chase her away.

"What is your name sir?" The girl asked but he did not reply. Not disappointed she asked him another question. "Do you know when we will be landing sir?"

"Go away" Eddy said tiredly. "But where to sir?" She asked gently noticing the tiredness in his voice.

"Anywhere would be fine with me." Eddy said.

"But I would love to speak with you, if I go away I won't be able to do that sir. Please grant me your attention." The girl reasoned with the man. "Why do you want to speak with me?" Eddy inquired.

"I'm lonely sir, can we talk? My grandpa is sleeping, I don't want to trouble him." She responded.

"Are you troubling me?" Eddy asked "I'm I troubling you sir?" She asked apologetically

Eddy seeing her expression thought she was sensible unlike many kids these days.

"I will keep you company, but only for a short while. understand?" Eddy said. "I deeply appreciate your kindness, thank you so much sir." The girl smiled happily "Can I sit next to you, sir?"

The girl sat without waiting for his response afraid he might change his mind and say no.

"May I know your name sir?" She asked cautiously after sitting. "Eddy, my name is Eddy." He said "That's a very nice name" She paused then continued "Do you like sausage Mr. Eddy?" She asked "Actually they are not my favorite. Do you like them?" Eddy asked, suddenly interested in having a conversation with the girl. "I don't like them either" she replied hastily

"Why are you leaving Westland City Mr. Eddy?" She asked immediately not wanting him to end their conversation. "I'm returning home I came to meet someone for work was not successful. It was very important but I could not meet him. It's very disappointing. It would have been better and easier if I had met him." Eddy said.

''Who might that?" She asked worriedly. "I would help if I could." Eddy chuckled and wondered how the little girl would help. But decided to tell since she looked innocent and sincere, so he smiled and said. "He's a very important person in the Tsu cooperation. I need him for the approval of my proposal . His name is Thomas Pumpkin." He said very happily surprising himself even.

"You really mean Vice President Thomas Pumpkin of the Tsu Cooperation." The girl half screamed, making the other passengers look at their direction. "Yes I do, anything wrong?" Eddy asked surprised at the girl's reaction. "That's my father's company." She exclaimed happily.

"I will introduce you to him if you wish." She smiled "Are you serious?" Eddy asked with great hope in his eyes. "Of course I am. I am Anna Tsu, and that's my grandpa Ethan Tsu." Anna said proudly to Eddy. "Really!" He turned to look at the old man. "He really is Ethan Tsu. Why didn't I notice earlier." Eddy scolded himself within.

"I will introduce you to my father Nathan, Tsu when he is free." Eddy was very pleased he could no longer hide his ecstasy, he hugged Anna so tight that she said. "I can't breathe properly Mr. Eddy."
