AIDEN'S POV
That was it!
I woke up feeling as calm as ever, when the memories of what happened the previous day flooded my mind.
How that mentally deranged girl refused to leave even after the Beta asked her to leave.
I wasn't able to see their faces, but I heard their voices and from it—I was able to detect what happened.
Quickly, I left my room looking around for her—
The mentally unstable girl who turned out to be my mate!
Oh yeah, There she was—
Going around with her duties as usual when I walked up to her, my eyes blazing furiously.
I really needed to know why she didn't accord my Beta with the respect he deserves—
But how? How possible is it that she managed to calm me down, making me feel as calm as I have never felt before in my whole life.
"Weakling!" I called loudly, and she turned around looking startled.
She obviously didn't know I was there, and that was what made her become scared.
"Weakling?" She muttered in shock and a light smile crept on my lips.
"How dare you try to prove yourself yesterday?!" I questioned, as my wolf growled loudly.
"I'm sorry my Alpha, I was just worried—" She said, and I seemed a little taken aback that second.
I had never imagined that I'll hear something like this from anyone—and at least not her.
"Sorry really doesn't solve anything, so you have to face your punishment," I said and she gasped lightly before she slightly nodded.
"You are to arrange my room, and make it sparkling clean," I ordered and she nodded with her head slightly bowed.
I smiled slyly, before I walked out of her presence—with a light grin.
In as much as I want to know how she managed to help me yesterday—I couldn't bring myself to ask her.
"What if she doesn't know too?" I wondered and groaned slightly.
The burdens were too much for me to bear—it was obviously difficult for me to lead my life happily—and it seemed the spirit of my ex mate has sworn to frustrate me.
I couldn't hold it anymore, as I heading out of the mansion—stopping any guards that tried to follow me.
It was not an easy thing for me, as the troubles and challenges I faced made me change—
I never realized I was changing, until I had changed ruthlessly beyond repair.
I have never liked the fact that I was like this— or the fact that I was an Alpha that everyone was scared of, but what do I do?!
Slowly, tears slipped out of my eyes as I walked into the forest—
A throbbing headache engulfed me instantly, as all I felt that moment was pain—
I sat down on a rock beside me, as I allowed the tears to flow out from my eyes.
This was the only place I enter whenever I feel down, or feel sad about something—
This was also the only place I feel safe and ready to pour out all my emotions—because the thickness of the forest was ready to cover it up for me.
This was the only place that had managed to know my pain while growing—and it's the only place that has managed to see my tears.
While in the pool of my thoughts, I heard a loud cry! Making me jolt in shock.
"Wasn't I the only one in this forest?" I questioned shockingly, as my heart beat managed to beat even faster—
The cry came again, but this time around—I felt compelled to go closer, even if there was a part of my heart that wanted me to run away.
As I moved closer, the cries became louder until I got there and saw her!!!
"What?!" I just couldn't believe my eyes, as I looked everywhere to ensure that I hadn't entered the wrong forest.
This was the most powerful forest in this land, and it's said that the forest is meant for mostly the Alpha or any other powerful personality in the pack.
"So what was weakling doing here?" I couldn't help but wonder I'm surprise.
It was also rumored that this was the most suitable place for an Alpha to have an alone time, as an ordinary werewolf can't enter this place but seeing Ava here made me develop doubts instantly.
"Who is she?" I asked myself, this time—trying hard to think of an answer.
"Weakling what are you doing here?" I asked her the moment I managed to find my voice, and she chuckled.
"You've developed interest in calling me weakling right?" She chuckled, standing on her feet.
That instant my wolf growled, and it was now serious—as my wolf was battling to take over me—
I tried hard as I began to sweat heavily, thinking of stopping my wolf—but I was overcome by the force of my Wolf.
Then that was it—I looked at her with admiration and love written in my eyes.
It was the most beautiful moment for me—as I pulled her closer to me and locked my lips with her.
Her eyes widened in shock, as she wasn't expecting that obviously but we stayed that way until after some minutes—that she began to lose control of herself.
That was the exact moment I managed to overcome my wolf, and I returned back to my body.
"Weakling?" I muttered in shock as I stared at her intently.
She was changing—turning to a wolf that very instant.
This was one of the most shocking day of my life, as I watched my mate turn into the most amazing and shocking type of wolf my eyes has ever seen before.
It was painful for her as I stared at her with a sad look—I was happy for her that she has finally changed to a wolf—
The most shocking type of wolf ever! A multi colored big wolf—seems like it's the biggest wolf my eyes has ever seen, coupled with the color of wolf she came with.
"Why does she seem different?" I wondered in shock.
But still, I felt sad—
The pain on her face that moment, as she turned into a wolf was enough to break my heart a little bit.
But still I didn't understand why!
