Chapter 1 -  Rebirth in Lookism

It was just another dull evening. I was lying on my bed, scrolling through the latest chapter of Lookism on my phone. The story was getting intense, but hunger gnawed at my stomach, so I decided to step out for some snacks.

As I walked down the dimly lit street, the screech of tires and a panicked scream shattered the quiet night. My head snapped up.

A guy was running straight toward a truck, his headphones in, completely oblivious.

"Idiot!" I shouted, instincts kicking in.

Without thinking, I sprinted forward and shoved him aside. A flash of headlights filled my vision, and then—nothing.

When I opened my eyes, I wasn't on the street anymore. I was floating in a white void, weightless, like I had nobody at all.

A voice, deep and otherworldly, echoed around me.

"You are dead."

I turned, and there he was—some old guy in flowing robes, radiating an aura of divinity.

"Figures," I muttered. "So what now? Straight to the afterlife?"

The god chuckled. "Not quite. You performed an act of great selflessness, saving another's life at the cost of your own. As a reward, I shall grant you three wishes before your reincarnation."

My heart pounded. Wishes? Reincarnation? This was some isekai-level nonsense—but if it was real, I had to choose wisely.

"Alright," I said, inhaling deeply. "For my first wish, I want the Nano Machine from the manhwa Nano Machine—fully integrated into my body, functional from the start."

The god stroked his beard. "Interesting choice. You desire power, yet one that enhances, not grants outright strength. Approved."

A warm sensation filled me, like knowledge embedding itself into my brain.

"For my second wish, I want a perfect body—strength, endurance, speed, looks—everything at the peak of human potential."

The god nodded. "A common request, yet a wise one. Approved."

I felt a surge of energy, like my very essence being rewritten.

Then came the final wish. My mind raced. Something useful, something versatile… but I drew a blank.

The god raised an eyebrow. "Struggling? Very well. I shall grant you something fitting."

Before I could protest, he snapped his fingers.

"Enjoy your new life," he said with a knowing smile.

And just like that, everything went dark.

I gasped awake, lungs burning, heart pounding like a drum. The first thing I noticed? I wasn't in my old body anymore.

My hands were bigger, my arms lean but muscular. I sat up, catching a glimpse of myself in a store window.

Holy—

I looked insane. Sharp jawline, perfect skin, tall and broad-shouldered—like I was handcrafted by the gods of genetics.

Then something beeped in my head.

[ Nanomachine activation confirmed.]

A rush of data flooded my mind—combat analysis, muscle control, biometric scanning. This was real.

I stood there, absorbing everything, when I finally noticed my surroundings. This wasn't my city. The streets, the people… this was Seoul.

And then I saw him.

Daniel Park.

The realization hit me like a freight train.

A smirk formed on my lips.

"Well then," I murmured. "Let's see how much I can change this story."
