Solo Leveling: The Sparda Heir
Chapter 3: Entering the Kamish Gate
A Storm Approaches
The world was watching.
When news spread that Go Gun, the mysterious eldest son of Korea's Hunter Association Chairman, had volunteered to enter the Kamish Gate, it became global news.
Most hunters dismissed him as an arrogant fool.
Those who had felt his presence firsthand remained silent.
And the ones who truly understood power?
They were waiting.
Waiting to see if this unknown monster would survive the most dangerous dungeon in human history.
United States – Kamish Gate Raid Team
Location: Nevada Desert, U.S.A.
In the middle of a massive military compound, some of the strongest hunters in the world were gathered.
Leading them was Thomas Andre, the world's strongest hunter, along with other S-Rank hunters from America, Russia, and Europe.
Despite their collective strength, the atmosphere was heavy.
The Kamish Gate was a catastrophe-class dungeon.
No one knew what awaited them inside.
As the final preparations were made, a single figure approached the briefing tent.
Silver-haired. Blue-eyed. Dressed in a dark, high-collared coat, Yamato strapped to his waist.
The moment he stepped in, the air froze.
It wasn't mana.
It wasn't bloodlust.
It was something far worse.
An overwhelming, divine authority that made even the strongest hunters feel small.
Go Gun scanned the room, his eyes sharp but disinterested.
"...Are we ready?"
A Russian hunter scoffed. "Tch. What's a brat like you doing here?"
Go Gun ignored him. Instead, he turned toward Thomas Andre.
"Thomas. Since you're leading this raid, let me ask one thing."
Thomas raised an eyebrow. "What?"
Go Gun smirked.
"Do you want me to hold back?"
Silence.
Then—
"Hah!" Thomas laughed.
"Kid, you've got some nerve." His eyes gleamed with battle hunger. "I don't care who you are. If you can keep up, prove it in there."
Go Gun chuckled.
"Fair enough."
The sirens blared.
The Kamish Gate was opening.
Inside the Kamish Gate
The team stepped into the portal.
The moment they entered, a suffocating pressure slammed into them.
The sky was crimson, swirling with dark clouds. The land stretched endlessly, covered in charred bones.
It was hell.
Roaaar!!!
The first monsters appeared.
Massive, jet-black wyverns with glowing red eyes, each one exuding S-Rank energy.
Before anyone could react—
SHING!
A clean, silent slash.
The wyverns froze mid-air.
Then—
BOOM!
Their bodies split apart, diced into hundreds of precise pieces.
It took a full second for the hunters to process what happened.
Thomas Andre narrowed his eyes.
His instincts screamed at him—
That wasn't normal speed.
He turned toward Go Gun.
The silver-haired swordsman had already put Yamato back into its sheath.
Go Gun exhaled, bored.
"Hmm. Weak."
The other hunters stared.
The strongest among them—couldn't even see his attack.
An eerie realization dawned upon them.
This man…
He wasn't just strong.
He was on a level that defied logic.
And they had only just begun.
To Be Continued…
