Chapter 1 - The awakening

Akane's eyes fluttered open, and she found herself in a strange, unfamiliar room. She was lying on a soft, velvet bed, surrounded by candles and strange artifacts. The air was thick with the scent of incense, and the sound of soft music drifted through the air.

As she sat up, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was a man, tall and imposing, with piercing green eyes and jet-black hair. He was dressed in a black leather tunic, adorned with intricate silver embroidery.

"Welcome, Goddess," the man said, his voice low and husky. "I see you're awake. We have much to discuss."

Akane's mind reeled as she tried to process her surroundings. Who was this man, and what did he mean by calling her a goddess?

"Who are you?" Akane demanded, trying to keep her voice steady. "And where am I?"

The man smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I am Eryndor Thorne, your loyal servant and protector," he said. "And you, Goddess, are in the Temple of the Moon, a sacred place of worship and magic."

Akane's eyes widened as she took in Eryndor's words. The Temple of the Moon? What did that even mean?

Eryndor seemed to sense her confusion, and he stepped forward, his eyes locked on hers. "You have been chosen, Goddess," he said. "Chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy, one that will determine the fate of our world."

Akane felt a shiver run down her spine as Eryndor's words hung in the air. What prophecy? And what did it have to do with her?

But before she could ask any questions, Eryndor reached out and took her hand. His touch sent shivers down her spine, and Akane felt a spark of attraction that she couldn't ignore.

"Come, Goddess," Eryndor said, his voice low and husky. "Let me show you the wonders of our world. And let me help you fulfill your destiny."

As Akane followed Eryndor out of the temple, she couldn't shake the feeling that her life was about to change forever.
