Chapter 5 - Rewriting the bad memories

Within 5 minutes, grey had drawn Tessa very beautifully. His smug expression gives off 'I'm the best vibe' to Nathan who had taunted about him not having any talents.

"Wow, that's cool!" Tessa exclaimed as she watched the image of herself in awe, but Armaros noticed something, her wrists looked red, like they had been held too tightly.

His gaze narrowed with anger at who had dared to touch his sister until he heard someone ask what Nathan's talent was.

"Let's keep mine for last," Nathan replied, adding "Armaros should go next."

Grey and Moses booed while Armaros could only shake his head at their childish antics.

"Fine, fine children," Aros smirked, he wouldn't lie, he couldn't deny, he was enjoying the moment. This were things they weren't very proud of doing, that they had the opportunities to do tonight.

He closed his eyes to focus and everyone watched with anticipation. Then he finally opened them.

They were blue, but beautiful arcs were drawn inside his iris's and they glowed with a silver light.

They gasped and also staring at his eyes gave them an ethereal feeling were they felt small beneath his gaze.

"This is the true color of my eyes, but I've learnt to hide it overtime. The doctor said the color only shows up when I'm extremely focused but it's a disorder," Armaros finally explained, the glow in his eyes, gradually dying down.

Tessa adored her brother, though she was hurt about the things he had to go through.

Even Jason and Aaron, his closest friends didn't know this about him.

Nathan, somehow was also shocked by the revelation, because he prided himself in always knowing things about others, especially Aros.

"So your explanation is, you were born with this?" Moses asked, still shocked by the entire reveal.

"Yep," Aros replied as a matter of fact.

Tessa stared at her brother, wondering if he was okay, sharing this part of himself.

Jason and Aaron soon shown juggling and whistling, like it wasn't something anyone could do, well, they were talentless.

"Nate, it's your turn," Tessa squealed, yes she didn't know whom to pick between Nathan and Armaros, when it came to favorite brother.

"Finally, let's see what the Sierra King is capable of," Grey mocked, while Moses waited, even Aros was anxious.

"Tess dear, could you please come a bit closer?" Nathan requested and Tessa obliged.

"Now check if you lost anything," Nathan said to Tessa.

"Well, I don't think I lost any…," She hadn't finished speaking when she noticed her bracelet was gone.

"You're a pickpocket wow!" Tessa exclaimed, while Moses, Grey and Drayce found it hard to believe, that someone as respectable as Nathan was a pickpocket, just didn't add up.

It also didn't help with the fact that he had refused to bear the family surname 'Whitlock' and instead bore 'Sierra'. There was more to him than met the eye.

The evening had gradually faded into night, while Grey watched as they all laughed together.

He hadn't been able to continue his journey as an artist because his father saw his talent as useless, so instead, he was in college to learn so he could become a CEO one day.

But even before the game began, his elder brother had already gathered all their parents' love, already earning him the CEO of the family company.

"I think we'll be spending the night here, Aros," Nathan said to Armaros, as either of them were ready to head home that night.

"Sure, you can use the guestroom. On no account, should any one of you go to the room by the first hallway, upstairs," Armaros replied, already going to take Tessa by her hand when he heard Moses ask,

"Why?"

"It's his sister's room dummy," Jason whispered through clenched teeth.

"Oh," Moses finally got the message.

When everyone had settled into their rooms, Armaros went to knock on the door of his sister's room.

"Mine," He called her name through the door, and when she didn't reply for the second time, he opened the door to check on her, as he had began getting worried.

"Aros I'm coming," he heard her answer from a study compartment.

"Oh, I just thought you'd gone under the bathing water for too long, so I was worried and came over to," Aros was still speaking, when his sister came over to hug him.

His hands were trembling.

"I'm fine okay," Tessa tried to reassure him, as she touched his hands.

It wasn't the first time she had almost drowned in the bathtub and that day, she knew how much her brother truly loved her.

He was pale as ghost when she recovered consciousness. He was on the brink of insanity.

"I'm fine now," Aros reassured her as he hugged her back to reassure himself.

"I brought your gifts," he whispered in her ear, and she looked around to see nothing, until she sighted the bracelets and necklace he wore on his wrist.

"Turn around sweet tooth," Aros said to Tessa, and she quickly obeyed, then he wore her the thin silver necklace, with green diamond gems as it's pendant.

Then he went on his knees, as he adorned her feet with matching anklets.

When Tessa saw the anklet, she gasped. It was the same one, they had refused to auction at the biggest gallery show, which no one could get, as it had been confiscated by one Mr. Mid.

How could she have forgotten she loved to call her brother Omid, he was the one responsible for the commotion.

"The color of this anklet, represents the silver arcs in my eyes, when I'm calm. You are my calmness Mine," Aros looked her in the eyes as he told her, then gave her a peck on her forehead.

"It's not fair brother, how am I supposed to marry if no man beats your standard," Tessa asked as she cleaned the tears from her eyes.

"You won't find him, I assure you that but you are welcome to stay as my only sister forever," he replied as he wiped away her tears.

A knock was soon heard on the door, before Nathan walked in.

"I hope I'm not interrupting your siblings moment?" Nathan asked, when he heard Tessa say,

"Come over, my next favorite," her eyes red with tears.

Nathan gave her new bullets and she gladly accepted. They both wished her goodnight, then retired to bed.

.

"We have waited so long, he reeks on that female doctor, I just don't know why I feel they are connected," The young man Tiana had treated, spoke outside the hospital ward, with the man who had come to visit him.

"I'll find out more about him, if that is what you want master," The other man replied.

"Shh, they are here," Tiana's patient whispered to his servant, then they both camouflaged into the hospital surrounding.

"They have made new weapons for what is to come, just get information about his whereabouts, and send it over to Queen," An hideous creature, with wide eyes and slurry tongue, said to his subordinate.

After that one had left, the other creature stayed back, when it's flat cold nose caught something in the air. It's nose scrunched up, before his eyes widened in realization, but it was too late.

Water created hole through it's head with force of no sound. The black haired servant who had camouflaged, stood behind it, the gold in his eyes, swirling mysteriously.

"They have perceived him until here, and you know how many they are, how much more would we be able to vanquish, until they finally find him," The servant whispered to his master.

"So what do you say I do, Thiriel?" The master finally asked, this time acknowledging the servant by his name.

"The boy needs to wake up, master," Thiriel whispered through clenched teeth.

The sweet scent of pancakes awoke all the inhabitants of the Linton's mansion the next morning, as Mrs. Linton was on her day off. She had decided to do the pancakes herself, instead of the maids, that morning.

Aros, ran his hands through his hair, when he noticed the scars on his Armaros tattoo by his left arm were bleeding.

His gaze widened in shock and horror of what he had always feared. His fantasy world was broken, that fearsome rage gnaw at his bones again. He knew the meaning of this, but it wasn't supposed to happen, he thought the entire plot was over. Something was wrong.
