Chapter 2 - Suspension

"A-HH!" Her scream pierced through the darkness.

Nelly ran as fast as a mad dog, constantly looking behind to see if the creature was following her and behold, it was.

The bony like creature floated after Nelly, with as much speed as the frenzy rabbit ran with.

She finally got to the 4th floor, where she saw Bianca reporting something to the heads of conduct board in the college. She looked behind to check if that thing was still following her, but luckily it wasn't, then she gave out a sigh of relief, when she heard Bianca say,

"Mum, I mean HC Morgana, Upper F and duo f's are at it again",

"Where are they?" Ms. Morgan asked, with an exasperated sigh.

"Hell's domain", Bianca replied and Ms. Morgan turned to look at her in confusion.

"Where even is hell's domain, Bianca?" Ms. Morgan asked.

"Sorry I meant, the 8th floor ma'am", Bianca covered her mouth in embarrassment at the mistake she had made.

"Mr. Shane please accompany Mr. Daryl to go check the 8th floor, while I gather the board meeting for what is to be done to those scoundrels." HC Morgan, gave out orders.

Mr. Shane and Daryl hadn't even made it far to the elevator, when it gave out a sound, and it's doors opened, to reveal the worse of enemies inside.

"Moses, Drayce, Grey and Nathan, to my office now", Ms. Morgan said, when she sighted duo f's and Bianca silently trying to make their way to class.

"I meant you too duo f's, and Bianca! How could I forget you called me Morgana, to my office now!", Ms. Morgan exclaimed.

When they were all heading to the HC's office, Armaros turned his head sideways, to catch sight of Nelly and their gazes locked, before he looked away.

Pictures were placed squarely on the white wall, while the venetian blinds had been rolled up for proper ventilation.

The view outside the window was the college garden. Da Vere college used to be the manor of the Da Vere family, until they had all died mysteriously, bringing people like Ms. Morgan's husband and other partners to buy the property, before starting up the college.

"Could you please give us a break down of what happened upstairs Mr. Linton?" asked one of the board directors.

"I don't know what prompted Grey to push me against the wall but I think it is because of a personal grudge he has against me," Armaros said while he hid a smirk, because the intentions behind his words weren't so innocent and he knew Grey would fall into the trap, which the block head eventually did as he heard him say,

"He destroyed the tatt…", Grey couldn't continue speaking, because Moses squeezed his jeans underneath the table, making him realize what he almost did. Tattoo lasers weren't allowed in this college.

"They were sent to clean our rooms as punishment for coming late to detention class yesterday, so one of them mistakenly knocked down the plastic tattie Grey's mum had brought him as souvenirs from their last trip to city B.

And you see, Grey here is a mum lover so he got angry, when he saw the tattie broken then assumed it was Aros." Nathan calmly spoke, fiddling with the ring on his index finger.

Upper F's mouth hung open at the structured lie Nathan had spouted without loop holes.

Though Grey didn't agree with what Nathan said, he could only nod his head in alignment.

The college board of directors, looked at them with suspicion, before the one who had asked Armaros the previous question spoke.

"So you mean all of this was for a plastic potato?" he asked for confirmation and they all nodded their heads in unison.

"I see, but that doesn't leave the fact that Nathan and Grey attacked each other, so you'll all be given a week suspension, who's in vote of this?" The man turned to look at the other directors present in the office and they all had their hands raised.

"You'll all leave first thing tomorrow morning, settle out your differences, you are dismissed." Ms. Morgan gave the last speech, and they all evacuated the office.

"Oh someone looks happy about suspension," Aaron teased Armaros, after they had explained what happened, to Layla and Susan.

"It's because he gets to see her, dummy," Layla teasingly cooed as she jabbed Armaros at the stomach with her elbow.

"Get's to see who?" Asked Jason totally oblivious on what they were saying.

"Tessa," replied Susan and Armaros smiled.

"Oh Mine," Jason finally laughed as he got the gist but Armaros's face darkened.

"Hey, you don't get to call her Mine, I gave her that name, so I'm the only one calling her that okay, not even our parents call her Mine," said Armaros as he glared at Jason.

"Fine, fine," Jason agreed with a wave of his hands.

"It's fine, it's just that I haven't seen her in like almost a year now, and I miss her a lot, she's my only sister you know," Armaros said feeling quite sad.

"Yeah we get," Layla spoke with a sympathetic nod, but the true reason why Armaros called his sister 'Mine,' was because he felt he finally had someone who belonged to and depended on him.

"I have to buy her gifts Layla, what do you think?" Armaros asked.

"Yes you do, but there's a slight problem," Aaron replied instead.

"And what is that?" asked Armaros.

"I think Grey took your wallet and every valuable in your room," Aaron hadn't even finished speaking when Armaros dashed off to go find Grey Bingham.

"Ah" sighed Layla while they all continued their meal at the cafeteria.

"I tell you, I wasn't hallucinating Darla, the thing was seriously floating behind me, with this compass thingy in it's bony hands," said Nelly, trying to explain what had happened on the sixth floor, as she and Darla went to pick their lunch from the counter.

"I believe you, but I just feel you should tone down the number of vampire books you borrow from the library," Darla suggested with a small laugh to Nelly, while the later shook her head in disappointment as no one seemed to believe her.

Inside the boys dormitory, where the Upper F's room was located, there stood Armaros at the front door.

"You what do you want here?" asked Grey with a bandage around his head.

"My wallet and the diamond necklace you took from my room," spoke Armaros as calmly as he could.

"On one condition?" asked Grey.

"Yes you get to do whatever you want to me even if it means punching my nose but after we return from suspension," spoke Armaros.

"Woah someone's willing to do anything, I see," spoke Moses as he was also in the room.

Armaros silently glared at him and the later quickly shut his mouth. When Aros was silent, he was scary.

"Fine, here you go and don't forget, I get to do whatever I want with you even if it means breaking a bone," spoke Grey before tossing Armaros his wallet and the necklace.

"Thanks" spoke Armaros and right on cue, the alarm for their football practice blared, so they all left the room except Nathan who called Armaros back.

"Take of your shirt" spoke Nathan, as his gaze raked Armaros with worry.

"Stop being such a worrywart, I didn't get severely injured when Grey pushed me against the wall," replied Armaros, already knowing why the latter wanted his shirt off.

"Okay, okay, if you say so. I just wanted to make sure you weren't hurt," Nathan replied.

"I know," Armaros said before giving him a quick smile as they both left the room.

Though everyone saw Nathan as the psycho who bullied and pampered Aros every chance he got, but only both of them knew the connection they shared, one where their lineage was concerned.

The day gradually faded, bringing about night in Da Vere, where all the girls had retired to their dormitory for rest and the guys to theirs.

The girls in Susan's room conversed about their boyfriends, when she suddenly remembered she had forgotten to fetch water from the drinking fountain just opposite their room.

So, Susan went outside the room, her water container in hand, when she noticed Mr. Shane drinking water from a bottle in his hand, just beside the water fountain.

Shane was dressed in a silky black night shirt, where the top four buttons were left open to give a peek at his toned chest and smooth skin. Some drops of water trickled down his throat as his Adam's apple burped each time he swallowed.

Susan gulped at the sight, and the teacher finally took notice of her. "Sue?" he called her name in an informal manner but it was the deep whispered tone to it, that had Susan squeeze her legs feeling the wet pool between them.
