The Need to Know Jesus Christ
There are many people in the world who do not know Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I want to share with you who Jesus Christ is and what He has done for you and me. His story is one of love, sacrifice, redemption, and eternal hope.
In the Beginning
At first, there was only Heaven, where God and His angels resided. Among these angels was Lucifer, also known as the Morning Star. He was once a beautiful and powerful angel, created by God to serve Him. However, Lucifer became prideful and desired to be equal to God. This arrogance led to his rebellion.
Not only did he turn against God, but he also convinced other angels to join him in his rebellion. However, despite his best efforts, he was unable to defeat Archangel Michael and the heavenly army. As a result, he and his followers were cast out of Heaven. Jesus Himself spoke of this moment in Luke 10:18, saying, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from Heaven."
After this, God decided to create a world for mankind. He made the Earth, the Sun, the Moon, and all the elements necessary for human life. Upon completing the creation, He saw that it was good.
The Creation of Mankind
God then decided to create humans. He formed a man from the soil and breathed life into him. The man came alive, and God named him Adam, which means "man" or "son of the red earth."
Realizing that man should not live alone, God then created a woman from Adam's rib. He named her Eve, meaning "life" or "living one." The two were placed in the Garden of Eden, a paradise where they could live in harmony with God. God gave them only one command:
"You may eat from any tree in the garden, but do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."
