Chapter 22 - Chapter 22-King's Unmasked

Zeraphis Arrives at Fortunaris

He saw Lunara and Vaelora fighting for Zeraphis.

Lunara: "He's mine! All mine!! You already have 10 husbands, so let Zeraphis be mine!"

Vaelora: "He's all yours. I already found my love in this world."

Lunara: "Who's love? Aron? You just ascended as a god, so you can never be with Aron again."

Vaelora: "There's a chance he will be a god because he's still alive."

Zeraphis: "Stop with all of your toys! We still need some force—there's a battle on the horizon."

Vaelora: "What toys are you talking about? Your King Greg?"

Zeraphis "Be Proud I give a Gift to your Aron!! hahahah!

Then Zeraphis answered. "Greg? King Greg? Hahahaha!

Before taking the throne, Greg was just nobody—a man with no past, no future, no memory of how he got here. I just summoned/swapped him after I won the arena… and also, same as you, Vaelora, I gave him a gift.

He had a bit of intelligence, strength, and endurance—but most of all, luck, an extra gift.

Pure, undeniable luck. I remember when I first saw him… all the prisoners were just a mile away from killing him.

And after he became a king, the five female champions became his wives—not because he was better, but because fate itself refused to let him lose.

But make no mistake—he is a better fighter than any of your toys."

Zeraphis smirked, recalling how Greg had proved himself by defeating the Warrior-Generals—the legendary Iron Shields of the King.

At the First Day and The First Night of Greg, His 10 Wives Still Not Gaining His Trust.

He needs to prove that his worth the crown.

The Iron Shields of the King:

Valeria – A master tactician and strategist, cold and calculating.

Selene – A deadly assassin specializing in stealth and poisons.

Reika – A fierce warrior from the East, skilled in dual-wield combat.

Isolde – A former knight with unmatched swordsmanship and honor.

Amara – A brutal brawler with raw strength and resilience.

Greg, a supposed nobody, had stood against all five of them in the Grand Arena. Valeria had set her traps, Selene had poisoned his blade, Reika's relentless twin blades came at him from all angles, Isolde fought with the precision of a war-hardened knight, and Amara's brutal fists shattered the very ground beneath them.

But luck—and something more—guided his every move. He sidestepped traps without realizing they were there. The poison in his veins should have killed him, yet it only slowed him down. He parried strikes he should never have seen coming and landed blows at the perfect moment.

One by one, the Iron Shields fell. Valeria outmaneuvered. Selene disarmed. Reika, exhausted. Isolde bested. Amara was knocked unconscious.

That day, Greg proved he was no mere pawn of fate. He was its master.
