Morning in the Web

The life of a superhero wasn't always about saving the world. Sometimes, it was about surviving the mundane.

Each Peter Parker had a different morning routine, and while the world saw them as larger-than-life heroes, at their core, they were just people trying to make it through another day.

Little did they know, their days of peace were numbered.

"Parker! You're late!"

Peter winced as J. Jonah Jameson's voice boomed through the Daily Bugle office. The place was as chaotic as ever—phones ringing, reporters running, and Jameson shouting at everything that moved.

"Sorry, Mr. Jameson, I—"

"No excuses! Where are my pictures of Spider-Man?"

Peter hesitated. "Uh… I figured since things have been quiet lately, I'd, uh, take a break from—"

"BREAK?!" Jameson slammed his hands on his desk. "Do you think crime takes a break?! Do you think the people take a break from wanting to see that masked menace exposed?!"

Betty Brant, sitting nearby, rolled her eyes. "Give him a break, Jonah. He's been working nonstop."

Jameson scoffed. "Parker, if you don't have pictures by tomorrow, you can kiss that paycheck goodbye."

Peter sighed. He missed the days when he didn't have to worry about rent. Being a superhero didn't pay the bills.

Still, he had a feeling Jameson wouldn't have to wait long for action.

Peter sat across from Aunt May, watching as she placed another helping of food on his plate.

"You look exhausted, sweetheart," she said, concern in her voice.

"I'm fine, May," he said with a forced smile.

"Fine? Peter, you barely eat, you barely sleep, and you barely talk to anyone anymore."

Peter looked down at his plate. "I'm just… busy."

Aunt May sighed, reaching out to hold his hand. "You can't keep living like this. Gwen wouldn't want you to."

He tensed at the mention of her name.

"I know," he said softly.

But knowing and moving on were two very different things.

Earth-199999 – The Struggles of a College Kid (Tom Holland's Spider-Man)

"Dude, we are so dead."

Peter and Ned sat in their dorm room, surrounded by textbooks, their physics exam looming over them like a supervillain.

"Come on, Ned, we got this," Peter said, flipping through his notes.

"Bro, last time you said that, we got a C."

MJ, lying on Peter's bed with a book in her hands, smirked. "Sounds like a 'you' problem."

Peter groaned. "Come on, I was a little busy, you know… saving the city and all."

MJ glanced up. "You're in college now. Maybe focus on saving your grades instead?"

Peter flopped onto the floor dramatically. "This is worse than fighting Thanos."

Ned chuckled. "Yeah, but at least you didn't have to take a final exam with Thanos."

They all laughed, enjoying the rare moment of normalcy.

But in the back of Peter's mind, that uneasy feeling from his Spider-Sense wouldn't go away.

Something big was coming.

The Spider's Web Tightens

Meanwhile, in an undisclosed location, a meeting was taking place.

Electro, the Lizard, Green Goblin, Sandman, and Doctor Octopus sat around a dimly lit table, their expressions unreadable.

At the head of the table, a man in pink fur lounged in his chair, swirling a glass of wine in his hand.

"Gentlemen," Doflamingo said, his signature smirk never leaving his face. "Shall we begin?"

The game had begun.

And the Spider-Men had no idea they were already caught in his web.
