I Transmigrated As A Top Rated Football Manager

I have always loved football. The game, it's legends, the number of people it brought together, the cries and roars of supporters, the banters and all. To me, it was the perfect sport. Many people had different hobbies and things of interest, mine however, were all football related. From games, to music, to books, the sport was just too unique. It served as an escape route for me, whenever I needed to get away from stress from work or at home, or whenever life decided to throw one silly bombshell at me! I was a complete football enthusiast. My names are Gregory Ray Patrick and I am 19 years of age, this of course, was due to change tomorrow anyways. I am orphaned, and had to work two jobs to be able to keep up with the bills and expenses, but somehow I always had enough time to follow up football. Football manager games, soccer novels and series, had the larger part of my day. I wasn't reading a football web novel, I would be on one football manager game or the other. I rarely spoke to people and as a result, had no friends. Well, except for the bookstore where I worked, my bosses and the girl who worked with me in a nearby supermarket. I almost spoke to no one. My routine was clear. As a part time student, I only attended classes when I had to. These were specific times, on specific days and I had everything worked out to sync with work. I was deeply considering a career in sports, but I wanted to be a businessman. I wanted to be a CEO in one of these multi billion dollar companies. Then I could buy shares in football clubs or own one even. I would be turning 20 tomorrow, and after his response to my comments, my favorite author, CH1SOM was set to publish a new book at midnight. I couldn't wait, as I was really looking forward to what he had in store this time. All it took was just one read to make me an active follower when I came across his works, a year ago. His profile was still struggling at the time, but was a lot better now than back then. After the completion of his previous book, he had left behind an appreciation message in the comments section, for his follower base. This was where he unveiled his next project. I was really intrigued to find out that the date he stated for the publishing of this novel was also my birthday. _What a coincidence? I thought, smiling as I was already tagging the book to be special. Although he didn't state much, one thing was clear; the book's genre was fantasy as the author was a fantasy writer. Out of curiosity, I joined the long queue of readers to ask the same question everybody was asking: _"What type of book will it be this time?"_ I hit the add comments icon below my screen, and then typed: _"What is it gon be this time bro? Harem? Transmigration? System? A sneak peek won't hurt, you know?😅"_ Then I hit submit,_"Your comments have been submitted."_ a pop up stated. I then headed straight to my library to search for what to engross myself in. I received a notification some minutes later, which stated that @_ch1som replied to your comment on their book. Of course, this wasn't the first time this guy was replying to my comments. But this reply seemed... how would I put this? Different, yes different was how it felt. I hurriedly headed to the comments section I was previously in, eager to see what this guy's reply was. _"Sports my bro, football (soccer) to be precise.. hope y'all hyped?😉"_ That was the reply I met. To be frank, I was kind of speechless for a bit. What did he mean by "hope y'all hyped?" Of course, I was hyped. I mean, who wouldn't be? This book was becoming too special already. I found out that my comments were already sparking reactions, so I took to my keyboard and also dropped a reply. I was too happy to head back to the book I was reading earlier, so I stuck around for a bit. I went to sleep that night in anticipation of this special novel. However, on the 16th of September, 2024. The day which this supposed special book was to be published and the day which was also my birthday. Something that would forever change my life happened.
