Ethan's eyes widened as he read the email on his phone. "What the...?" he muttered.
Ryan, who was driving, glanced over at him. "What's wrong?"
Ethan showed him the email. "I just got this email from an. It says 'I have got a new client nd it's from someone named Venetus Crowtread."
Ryan's eyebrows shot up. "That's a weird name. Do you think it's fake?"
Ethan shook his head. "I don't know, but it looks like they're trying to contact me for something specific."
Just then, Ethan's phone beeped again. He looked down to see a text message from the same unknown number.
"Let's meet up," the message read.
Ethan's eyes met Ryan's, a spark of curiosity igniting between them.
Ethan's phone buzzed again, and he checked the screen to see an address flash on the screen. He typed it into his maps app and waited for the location to load.
Ryan's curiosity got the better of him. "Where is it?" he asked, trying to peer at Ethan's screen.
Ethan turned the phone away, a hint of a smile on his face. "It's an old warehouse on the outskirts of town."
Ryan's eyes widened. "You're not going to meet him now, are you?"
Ethan shook his head. "No, the meeting is set for later tonight."

Ava strode into the office, exhaustion etched on her face. She checked the clock on the wall, noting the time: 2:54, almost 3 o'clock. She made her way to her department, where Ryan and Ethan were seated.
As she sat down, she suddenly raised her head, a look of determination on her face. "Ryan, call the media," she said, her voice firm.
Ryan looked up from his computer, a questioning expression on his face. "What's the message?" he asked.
Ava's eyes locked onto his. "Tell them to release the picture of the Shadow Killer. Tell them to make it clear that the killer is identifiable by the way he holds his victims. We need to get this out to the public, now."
Ethan's eyes widened. "You think someone will come forward?" he asked.
Ava nodded. "I'm counting on it. We need a break in this case, and if someone has seen the Shadow Killer, we need to know about it."
Ryan nodded, already dialing the number. "I'll get it done," he said.
Ava's gaze turned to Ethan. "Let's get ready for the tips to start rolling in. We'll need to follow up on every lead."
Ethan nodded, a look of determination on his face. "We're ready," he said.
Ethan turned to Ava, a skeptical expression on his face. "How do you expect people to recognize the Shadow Killer if we don't have a clear picture of his face?" he asked.
Ava's eyes narrowed, anticipating this objection. "Ryan, what did the CCTV footage show?" she asked.
Ryan shook his head. "The Shadow Killer's face was not visible in the footage. He was wearing a hoodie and his face was covered."
Ethan's expression turned incredulous. "So, how do you expect people to come forward and identify someone they've never seen? We're asking them to recognize a person they don't even know what he looks like."
Ava's face set in determination. "We'll have to rely on other distinguishing features, then. The way he holds his victims, his build, his clothing...something might trigger a memory in someone who's seen him."
Ethan raised an eyebrow. "It's a long shot, Ava."
Ava nodded. "I know it's a risk, but we have to try. We can't just sit back and wait for another victim to turn up."

At TM Corporation, the news of CEO Richard Langley's death had sent shockwaves through the company. But as the days passed, the initial grief gave way to a more pragmatic reality: the company had to keep moving forward.
Victor Matridi, the man who had taken over as interim CEO, stood in his office, looking out over the city skyline. He was a shrewd businessman, and he knew that the key to success lay in adapting to changing circumstances.
But what few people knew was that Victor had a secret: he had a son, a young man who was being groomed to take over the company one day. Victor had kept his son's existence a secret, knowing that the cutthroat world of corporate politics could be unforgiving.
As he stood there, lost in thought, Victor's phone buzzed on his desk. He turned to answer it, his expression unreadable. "Yes?" he said, his voice firm and commanding.
Victor's assistant, a crisp and efficient woman named Ms. Jenkins, spoke on the other end of the line. "Sir, I have some news. The media have released a statement asking for anyone with information about Richard Langley's murder to come forward."
Victor's expression turned thoughtful. "I see," he said. "And what else?"
Ms. Jenkins hesitated before speaking. "There's something else, sir. The media are circulating a description of the killer's... habits. They're asking people to report anyone who matches the description."
Victor's eyes narrowed. "I want to see the description," he said. "Get me a copy of the statement."
Ms. Jenkins nodded, even though Victor couldn't see her. "Right away, sir."
Victor quickly called his son julian
Victor's voice was low and urgent as he spoke to his son Julian. "Listen, Julian, this is serious. We can't let the Shadow Killer get caught,we have to get rid of him. If he does, richard's death will be linked to us, and we'll go down before we even have a chance to rise to power."
Julian's voice was cautious on the other end of the line. "Father, do you know who that killer is? I think he's a professional. You don't expect us to just kill him like that, do you? He's not going to surrender himself for us to kill..we don't even know how he looks,he is always on mask,I guess."
Victor's expression turned cold. "I don't care who he is or what he's done. What I care about is protecting ourselves. We can't let him get caught. Find a way to get rid of him Julian. Now."
