Athan's oppressive aura washed over the room even more, causing the castle to rumble with riveting quakes.
The strong winds from his energy grew even greater as it billowed over Trick, leaving both his clothes and his golden blond hair to dance violently in the wind.
And the castle walls succumbed to the powerful entity's vicious aura, splitting with several cracks on both the walls and the stone tiles that stuck to the floor.
Then suddenly, there was an odd calm…
Athan had finally lowered his terrifying energy whilst still remaining high above the ground.
"I'll show you exactly how to track down void essence." A prideful smirk spread through Athan's face as he crashed his paws together for a clap, holding it in that position.
"So watch closely, how I'll find—' Suddenly a slight rumble started to emerge all around both Trick and Astravan as the ground once more began a slight tremble.
"That bastard Void Beast!" As though a star were uprooted from the firmaments above to become planted into Athan's purple eyes, they dazzled in eminent beauty, shimmering ever so brightly as he uttered a cryptic statement.
"Sensory Art…" Athan delayed for a moment, a surge of energy encircling his entire body as the otherworldly pattern he had drawn across his back gave out an illustrious purple glow.
"ALL SEEING EYES OF APOKALYPSIS!!"
WHOOSH!
Like a dragon heaving in a delayed breath to build up its calamitous flames, Athan's lowered aura burst with a large boom, spreading right from the room they all inhabited, to every end of the entirety of the castle.
"That's actually…" Trick swallowed hardly, his eyes that reflected his formerly startled state, glinting with a little light of amusement.
"Pretty cool!" An unconscious smile etched across the child's face as he watched in sheer befuddlement, an uncountable number of…
Eyes appear from thin air, courtesy of the so-called great and mighty himself.
The eyes were dyed in a dark purple hue, and glistened radiantly, having the countenance of energy constructions that seemed to have no physical form.
However, no matter how brightly they glowed, these eyes conjured by Athan's indomitable energy had an eerie feeling to them.
A really creepy one.
With an extra burst of energy, Athanasios conjured up more sensory eyes that quickly emerged in every room within the castle, their pupils flickering as they eyed out every inch of Void essence that littered across the castle.
'They really are going all over the castle.' Trick wondered in excitement, following their emergence by turning his head to where they appeared, but his excitement was quickly interrupted as he turned his face to meet something creepy…
As he now stared face to face with one of the eyes of Apokalypsis.
"Whoa!" Trick stepped back a little startled by the large eye ball that appeared in front of him, eying him probingly before vanishing towards another search area.
"That's one of Athan's greatest sensory techniques." Astravan closed his book shut as he took gradual steps towards Trick who heaved a breath of relief.
"It can search energy even if it's as inconspicuous as drop of aura." Astravan turned his attention to Athan who stood in the air, a ball of energy encircling him rapidly.
"So rest easy kiddo, cause it's only a matter of time before—"
"FOUND HIM!" Athan voiced aloud, interrupting Astravan mid sentence.
A pleased smirk then spread through Astravan's face, his visible astonishment for Athan gleaming through the grin he had plastered on his face.
"Yeah, that." Astavan mumbled, as he watched the eyes of Apokalypsis grow in their bright purple hue.
CLAP!
With a swift clap from the Athanasios, the purple eyes dimmed, the bright aura that constituted them fading off into a mist of energy.
"Good going bud." Astravan swayed his hand over the top of his hat as a gesture, inviting Athan to sit atop it.
The bunny then floated towards him before laying on the Trickster's hat.
"It's no big deal… finding him was as easy as devouring one of Clorette's Friday night feasts." Athan responded to Astravan, rubbing through his belly with a smile.
"E…m, nice going Athan." Trick mumbled timorously, testing to see if the bunny's heart still burned with an unquenchable flame of annoyance towards him.
Athan then paused, his face contorting into a bitter expression on hearing Trick's voice before cutting him with an intense stare and mouthing the words—
"I'll kill you later." In a soft inaudible manner towards Trick, causing him to pale with fear at the ominous bunny's deadly warnings, he couldn't hear the threat, yet he could very clearly read Athan's lips.
Astravan then let out a loud chuckle as he watched both Trick and Athan's dramatics before beginning to speak.
"Alright then, Trick hop onto my back." Astravan cut his laughs short, uttering a surprising statement which left Trick with more questions than answers.
"Huh? Hop on your back Master?" Trick asked in bewilderment as to why exactly he would need a piggy back ride from his Master.
"Just trust me kiddo." Astravan voiced out in a kind coercive manner, causing Trick to just go along with his Master's strange orders.
Astravan then motioned slightly, using his hands to hold Trick firmly across his back.
'What exactly is Master thinking?' Trick's mind strayed in wonder, as he pondered his Master's next move.
With a large breath, a slight shimmer then began to emanate from Astravan's iconic hat, before transforming into a large gust of light purple aura.
Trick then held closely onto Astravan while Athan remained seated atop the glowing hat, as a powerful surge of energy began to encircle them right from Astravan to all three of them.
"Lead the way Athan."
Athan hearkened unto Astravan's words, snapping his fingers to create a little ball of energy that whistled into the air before traveling towards the direction of Oneiros.
"Sure thing Astra!"
"Well we can't get left behind." Astravan voiced aloud, watching the ball of energy move past them at incredible speeds.
"I hope you guys are holding on tight, cause…" The Machiavellian Trickster announced with a wide grin across his face, a little tattoo of a diamond etching under his left eye with a purple glow.
"Things are about to get really fast!" Like a bright surge of lightning, Astravan having both Trick and Athan riding with him, blitz with incredible speeds.
FLASH
In the blink of an eye, Trick found himself moving at rapid speeds, causing him to hold on tighter to his Master's back as he watched Astravan's bright aura glitter in illustrious magnificence.
"This is!" Trick managed to get his voice out from the heavy winds that billowed across them due to the high speed at which they moved.
"Really awesome!" Trick's eyes gleamed in elation, reflecting the purple glow his master's aura adopted.
Astravan then let out a hearty laugh, turning his face towards Trick, who stared at the aura encircling them with excitement gleaming through his crimson eyes.
"That's my boy!" Astravan added, turning his attention back to his travel.
"You're the coolest, Master!" Trick yelled with the full capacity of his voice, causing Athan to hold onto his ears in irritation for his loud yells.
"Can't you two just keep it down even a little." Athan questioned rhetorically, causing both Trick and his Master to stare back at each other with a laugh.
They moved even faster, traveling at rapid speeds across the castle with a cloud of aura encircling them in the process. Room after room, and hall after hall until they were finally moving through a large passage adorned with fiery torches set ablaze by sinister red flames.
"Stop, Astra!" Athan, uttered into the hearing of Astravan who paused their quick progression towards Oneiros putting Trick down from his back.
"There's someone in front of us." Athan added, while floating down to Astravan's shoulder.
Astravan's eyes then transformed into a stern stare as he eyed the dark figure that slowly started to emerge from the darkness before them.
"I know, Athan."
Being brought down from his master's back, Trick then squinted his eyes, trying to uncover the dark figure, who was yet to be exposed to the light.
And that was when a concerning feeling coursed through his body once more, almost being the same as the sensation he felt before entering into the bleeding world.
'Something is not right!' Trick's mind screamed out unconsciously as they all waited to clearly see the dark figure.
The torches tightly fixed onto the walls of the castle then swayed under a gentle breeze, their red flames being made to dance slowly in the air as their light started to reveal the walking figure.
The figure then walked into the covering of the torches, being revealed by their bright lights to have a pleased smile etched onto his face.
"Sir Astravan…"
"I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE."
