Eldros - A land where power Rules
The world of Eldros had only one rule - power decide everthing. Empires rose and fell like waves in the ocean . Kings were crowned and slaughtered in the same breath. The strong ruled. The weak perished.
And in the middle of it all, stood Arcane Crown Academy , the legendry institution where warriors, warloads, and mages trained to carve their names into history. It was where legendswere born - and where nobodies were cruahed .
Elias Nightshade was one of those nobodies.
The academy didn't just see him as weak . It saw him as nothing.
"YOU'RE JUST A SHADOW."
The training hall echoed with laughter as Lucius Vorn, the prodigy of the academy , smirked. His piercing golden eyes burned with the arrogance of the born ruler. He stood tall , dressed in royal armor enchanted with ancient war sigils.
Elias meanwhile stood at the center of the dueling arena , fists clenched , his heartbeat like war drums in the chest . He had no armor. no magic. no legacy. just bruises and a desperate will to survive .
Lucius took a step forward , his presence alone sending a wave suffocating pressure . " what are you even doing here , Nightshade?" His voice was cold, like steel unsheathing before a kill . "Do you think you belong among us?"
The audience snickered. Whispers spread like wildfire.
"A weakling like him? He should've never been admitted. "
"No magic. No power. How pathetic."
"He's a disgrace to the Nightshade name."
Elias felt their words claw into him , their voices a storm of doubt inside his mind . But he refused to step back.
Not today.
Lucius sighed, as if tired of the charade. " let me give you some advice , commoner." His fingers sparked with golden fire, power crackling at his command. " leave while you can still walk. Or I'll break you so badly you'll wish you were never born .
The flames in Lucius Palm twisted into a blazing spear . He lifted it , preparing to strike-
" that's enough".
The voice cut through the air like a blade.
A girl stepped forward from the crowd , her violet eyes burning with something unreadable.
The tension in the room shifted instantly .
Serephina Vale.
The Warrior prodigy .
The untouchable Goddess of War .
And for some reason - she was looking directly at Elias.
THE UNSEEN SPARK..
Lucius turned to her, unimpressed. "Seraphina, stay out of this. This is just a lesson for the weak."
Seraphina didn't Flinch . Her gaze remained locked onto Elias, like she saw something no one else could see.
Elias, still Breathless, frowned. " why.... are you helping me ?"
she didn't answer immediately. Instead ,she stepped closer ,her voice a Whisper only he could hear .
"Because you are not weak ."
Elias froze.
what the hell was she talking about ?
Seraphina tilted her head, eyes narrowing . "you are holding something back. Something even you don't understand yet."
Elias wanted to laugh. "you are mistaken. I have nothing."
But Sepharina just smirled . "No, Elias . You have something none of them have. They don't fear you because you are weak. They fear you because they can sense what you could become."
The words stucks something Deep Inside him. A buried ember in the ruins of the shattered Pride.
Lucius, irritated, stepped forward. "I am done wasting my time." His Golden Spear roared to life, the flames stretching high into the air. " Fight Me. Right now."
Elias exhaled sharply. His body screamed at him to run. His mind begged him to quit.
But his soul - the part of him even he didn't understand- burned with something new.
I don't want to be weak anymore.
He stepped forward. "let's do this."
THE BATTLE THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED ...
The Academy's Arena was built for war. High stone walls surrounded a battlefield of enchanted steel and ancient sigils, crackling with remnants of past duels.
Lucius stood confidently , Golden Flames dancing around his fingers like tamed beasts. " I'll end this quickly ."
Elias , weaponless and magicless , steadied his breath. Focus. Watch him. Predict his next move.
The air exploded as Lucian lunged , his Flame spear striking with terrifying force .
Elias dodged- barely. The heat of the flames seared his arm, but he kept moving. If that hit had landed, he'd already be unconscious. Lucius didn't stop . His attacks rained down like a storm of fire. Each one faster , stronger, deadlier.
Elias dodged. again. And again. And again.
until -something changed.
His vision sharpened. His breath steadied. Time slowed.
He could see the pattern.
Lucius's movements- his foodwork, his attack- they all had a rhythm. A flaw. A gap.
Elias's body moved on instinct. He ducked. He twisted. He countered .
And for the first time- Lucius missed.
Gasps erupted from the crowd. The Academy had never seen Lucius miss before.
Lucius's expression twisted in frustration. "what the hell...?"
Elias didn't understand it either. But he didn't have time to think . His body was moving on its own.
Lucius roared, summoning a massive Inferno. "BURN!"
The flame came, faster than before. Too Fast. Too powerful.
For a brief movements, Elias thought this was it.
But then-
It awakened.
A pulse of dark energy erupted from his chest. The Arctifact hidden Beneath his shirt, the one he had carried all his life without knowing its meaning- it came alive.
The flames vanished.
The arena shook.
Lucius stumbled back, eyes wide. " what... was that?"
Elias looked down at his own hands , trembling. Power.
Something had just changed inside him.
And everyone could feel it.
