The rest was short-lived, this was the moment when they were most vulnerable. After everyone was safely on the beach, the best explorers began to track and check the surroundings, they had to know if they could be calm or if there was any danger in the area.
These explorers also had a fundamental mission, to find some source of drinking water, even if they had brought reserves from the ship, these would be the first to run out, long before the food.
The vegetation inland, beyond the sand of the beach, was abundant, with large extensions of mangroves and areas of tropical forest.
This description was the closest that could be made, since none of the plants were really familiar to them, nor did any of the multicoloured birds and other animals have an exact equivalent to those on land.
