The scream spread through the stones, it was not pain, it was fear, that being feared the light. The torch reached a little less than fifty meters deep in the tunnel. With his mana senses Ikky could not detect the being, but it was undoubtedly there screaming.
Ready to finish off whatever was there, Ikky advanced, leaving a torch about fifteen meters from the entrance and holding the other one he had left and his sword in the other hand. He had not wasted time and had already activated Bullet Time and his mana senses for whatever might happen.
It was a single instant, as if the shadow generated by his body became more solid, heavier, Ikky jumped while stabbing not with the sword but with the torch itself. A scream was heard and the being screamed again and fled to one of the few shadows left in the corridor.
