Chapter 10 - Nameless Sacrifice

The Primordial Dragon's eyes, as large as hills, radiated destructive light, destroying mountains and valleys. Each beam turned living creatures into stone, and the stone shattered into energy fragments that were absorbed by the Primordial Dragon. Xiao Lin ran to avoid it, but wherever he went, destruction followed.

Luo Yan, now in the form of a red-eyed black dragon, hovered above him. The Heavenly Demon energy chains still bound his neck, but in his eyes, for a moment, a flash of realization appeared. "Xiao Lin… stab my heart!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the howling winds of death.

But Xiao Lin couldn't. The Jiuyinlong glass sword in his hand trembled, as if refusing to hurt Luo Yan. The purple blood in his body flowed freely, forming a circular pattern on the ground—an ancient symbol that suddenly lit up.

Su Chen's voice echoed again: *"You must choose: live as a forgotten legend, or die as a remembered hero."*

Xiao Lin looked up at the sky, where the Primordial Dragon was beginning to swallow the sun. "I choose both," he whispered.

With a swift movement, he stabbed the glass sword into his own chest. Purple blood gushed out, forming a pillar of light that pierced the sky. The Primordial Dragon screamed in pain, its beam of destruction blocked by Xiao Lin's blood energy.

"Luo Yan!" Xiao Lin shouted, his voice starting to fade. "This is for you!"

The purple blood flowing from his chest formed energy chains, connecting to the chains that bound Luo Yan. The Heavenly Demon screamed in anger, trying to pull Luo Yan back, but Xiao Lin's blood energy was too strong.

Luo Yan transformed back into her human form, her body falling beside Xiao Lin. "Why… why did you do this?" she whispered, tears of blue blood flowing.

"Because I love you," Xiao Lin replied, a final smile spreading before her body began to dissolve into energy dust.

But before he could completely disappear, Su Chen appeared as a shadow, holding the intact Jiuyinlong. "You have proven yourself, my successor. Now, let me finish this."

Su Chen shot into the sky, the Jiuyinlong in his hand glowing red and blue. With one slash, he sliced the Primordial Dragon in half. The silver woman screamed, her body shattered into ice shards.

Tianmo, who had lost control of Luo Yan, tried to flee. But Su Chen chased after him, the Jiuyinlong stabbing Tianmo's heart. "This is for my brother," he whispered before Tianmo exploded into black dust.

**Epilogue:**

Luo Yan woke up in the middle of a forest, her body intact but her memory blank. In her hand, she held a crystal pendant containing a drop of purple blood. She had no memory of who she was, or where this pendant came from.

In the distance, a young warrior passed by, a wooden sword on his back. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked.

Luo Yan looked at him, a sense of familiarity tickling her heart. "I... I don't remember."

The young warrior smiled. "I'm Xiao Lin. Do you need help?"

Luo Yan nodded, but in her heart, something whispered: *"This is a new beginning... for us."*

In the sky, Su Chen's shadow smiled, the Jiuyinlong in his hand slowly dissipating. *"Legends never die... they just sleep, waiting for the right time to awaken."*

In a faraway place, in an ancient temple, the remaining pieces of Jiuying and Yinglong began to pulsate. A little boy with ocean blue eyes picked it up, and suddenly, Tianmo's voice resounded: *"I will return..."*
