As soon as Aryan was struck by a truck, he was thrown far away, fell, and lost consciousness. Immediately, some people arrived, lifted him, and took him to the hospital. At that moment, Aryan was teetering between life and death—doctors were making desperate efforts to save him, but due to the massive blood loss from his body, his chances of survival were very slim.
While Aryan's chances were nearly nil, a ray of blue light emerged from some corner of the multiverse and began roaming among the infinite universes. This blue light would enter each universe, examine it thoroughly for a few seconds, then exit, and proceed into the next universe to inspect it as well. If it searched for something and did not find it there, it would then remove that universe from consideration and move on to the next one. In this way, the blue light traversed every universe, carefully checking each one before moving on.
After examining nearly countless universes, the blue light entered one particular universe and scrutinized it closely. When something occurred, the light penetrated deep into that universe and began moving toward a supercluster. It entered a supercluster called the Laniakia Super Plastr, and then moved into a specific cluster within that supercluster known as the Kanya Cluster. Upon reaching the Kanya Cluster, the blue light entered one of its galaxies—the Milky Way Galaxy. Once inside the Milky Way, the blue light journeyed into the Orion Arm and finally into a blue planet, which turned out to be none other than our own planet Earth.
While the blue light was advancing toward Earth, the doctors had, on the other hand, begun to lose hope for Aryan, as despite their tireless efforts, they feared he might not survive.
The doctors were extremely worried. Meanwhile, the head doctor of the hospital—the main person responsible for Aryan's treatment, Shubham Mehta—said to his team, "Guys, even if we tried, this boy cannot be saved because he has a congenital problem in his body."
Hearing such words from him, every person present was shocked, and everyone began looking at him questioningly. When Mehta noticed the questioning looks in the eyes of each team member, he added, "Look, we are just doctors, and our job is to save patients' lives, but what can we do when the problem lies within the patient's own body? You know, this boy's muscles are extremely weak. As far as I can understand, he might not even be able to evolve."
Hearing Shubham Mehta's harsh words, every doctor there was stunned, because they knew that in the modern age, anyone who cannot evolve is considered trash by the entire world. Not only that, but no one would have any relationship or connection with such a person; moreover, they would also face social ostracism. In today's world, there was a simple rule: if you cannot evolve, then the world doesn't need you.
This was a time when people from other worlds frequently attacked Planet Earth. In the last 100 years alone, people from other worlds had attacked Planet Earth eight times. However, since the people of Planet Earth had become capable, they managed to deal with those outsiders—but it required a tremendous amount of effort, and Planet Earth had to lose a great deal of human resources. Perhaps this was the reason why every person on Planet Earth was expected to evolve and become so powerful that they could protect their planet from the ill intentions of people from other planets. Anyone who couldn't do so was held in no esteem in society, no matter how talented they were.
Moreover, the fact was that even if such individuals were turned into scientists to further empower ordinary people, it wouldn't be very useful. This was because the government might have to spend an exorbitant amount of resources on the security of such people, and even then, there was little chance that such a scientist would ever do any good for humanity. Therefore, the government did not pay much attention to such individuals. In fact, if you were to count them, there were hardly any per thousand—in truth, in every ten million people, there would be only one or two who could not evolve.
While everyone was showing sympathy for Aryan's misfortune, that same blue light entered our solar system and then headed straight for our planet Earth. After entering Earth's atmosphere, the light moved toward the hospital where Aryan had been admitted. It directly penetrated Aryan's body, and then a mechanical voice—sounding like that of a girl—echoed in his mind.
"After searching through innumerable universes, the system has found a perfect candidate. Therefore, I am installing myself into the host's body. Installation process beginning… Installation starting… 1%, 2%, 5%, 10%, 90%, 100%. Installation complete. The system is now successfully bonded with the host."
Although Aryan was unconscious at that moment, he could still clearly hear that mechanical voice. The same voice continued, "In celebration of binding with the host, I am gifting the host 500,000 experience points." After a brief pause—as if the system were thinking—it continued, "After checking the host's body, I have determined that the host's life is currently in danger. Therefore, I am repairing all of the host's injuries. Deducting 100,000 experience points from the host's total." Almost immediately after that, Aryan's wounds began to heal on their own.
Meanwhile, Shubham and his colleagues still watched Aryan with deep sympathy, truly feeling sorrow for him. As they were all concerned about Aryan's health, suddenly Shubham Mehta's gaze shifted toward the screens, where he noticed some changes taking place. At the same time, when he looked back at Aryan, he observed that his serious injuries were healing remarkably quickly. Astonished by what he saw, he pressed his fingers to his mouth in disbelief.
At that moment, every single person present felt deep sorrow for Aryan because they knew that the kind of life he was destined to live was something none of them had ever even dreamed of. However, none of them could do anything about it, since technology had not yet advanced enough to give such disabled individuals a chance to evolve. Although such people could live long lives, they simply could not make themselves powerful.
After the voice had persisted for a while, he suddenly shouted, "This is impossible! How can this be possible?" When all his colleagues saw him shouting like that, they were utterly astonished, wondering what had happened to his mind to make him shout so. Then, following his line of sight and witnessing everything for themselves, they too were extremely surprised and said, just like their boss, "Sir, this is impossible! This is against medical science. There is absolutely no way that this should be possible—how can this boy's injuries be healing on their own?"
After hearing all their colleagues' remarks, Shubham Mehta remained silent and merely looked around. After a while, he examined Aryan's injuries carefully and then once again placed him in the scanning machine for another scan.
When they saw that Aryan's injuries had almost completely healed, they were greatly astonished. Everyone present was in a state of shock, for in their entire lives they had never witnessed such an event—the very boy they had declared unsalvageable was now nearly recovered.
They even began to doubt everything they had studied, wondering if all they had learned was truly correct. Yet, there was nothing they could do about it.
Then Shubham Mehta grew serious and said to all his colleagues, "Friends, I know that this is a monumental event, but I hope we do not let this information get out of this medical room. If it does, this boy may face even more trouble, and I absolutely do not want that, because he has already suffered so much in his life. I truly do not want him to suffer any further."
Hearing all these words from Shubham Mehta, every person standing in the medical room nodded in agreement, for they too recognized how serious the matter was.
Shortly afterward, everyone began watching Aryan intently. Meanwhile, when Aryan's injuries had nearly healed, the system's mechanical voice was heard once again:
"All of the host's injuries have been repaired. The host's body is being inspected once again."
After this, the system once more conducted an in-depth inspection of Aryan's body.
By this time, Aryan had completely regained consciousness, although he still had not opened his eyes because he was sensing the aura of several people around him—that was the reason he had yet to open his eyes.
At the same time, after the system finished inspecting Aryan's body once again, it said, "The system has thoroughly checked the host's body, and it has determined that the host cannot evolve because his blood vessels are defective and his muscles are extremely weak. Therefore, the system is repairing both of these issues in the host."
Soon after, Aryan began to feel a warmth spreading through his body, but this sensation did not last long and quickly faded away.
Then the system announced, "Ding! The system has made the host capable of evolving; therefore, the system is deducting 100,000 experience points from the host's account."
Aryan did not know how these experience points would benefit him or what they would do for him, but now that he had heard the system say he could evolve, he felt immense happiness. Along with that, a strong curiosity gripped him—wondering which elemental power he would ultimately receive.
As if anticipating his curiosity, the system continued, "The elements within the host's body are being examined." After a while, the system's voice sounded again, "Ding! There is no element in the host's body."
Hearing this, Aryan's face turned completely pale; he had never expected that he would not possess any element. Yet, there was nothing he could do about it, so he did not pay it much heed.
Just when Aryan was feeling down, the system's mechanical voice echoed in his mind once again:
"Ding! Since the host does not possess any innate elemental power, the system is now selecting an element for the host."
After a moment of silence, the system's voice resounded in Aryan's mind once again:
"The system has chosen the elements for the host. The elements are as follows: water, earth, air, fire, sky. Currently, the host does not have the power to control even one percent of these elements."
The host's details are as follows:
Name: Aryan Chauhan
Age: 17 years 6 months
Level: -F
Elements: Water, Earth, Air, Fire, Sky
Since the host currently has not a single experience point, the system will assign daily tasks through which the host can earn experience points and use them to purchase anything available in the in-system shop.
Hearing all this, a smile spread across Aryan's face. At that moment, he wanted to dance and celebrate, but he knew he was still in the hospital with several doctors standing nearby, so he couldn't do that even if he wanted to. Nevertheless, he was extremely happy. He decided that as soon as he is discharged from the hospital, he will throw himself a lavish party using all the credits he has earned.
