Chereads / The Supreme Tablet / Chapter 10 - Rachis Innate

Chapter 10 - Rachis Innate

Domestic Animals were just animals that didn't go on Grade ascension to Iron, Copper and the rest of the grades.

They were at Null Grade which made their meat slightly edible to a degree.

Domestic Immortal Spawn Beasts were special beasts at Null Grade which made them weak and easy to obtain.

The great thing about them was that they can be nurtured to enter Grade and their Grade will skyrocket exponentially.

Weish Clan had been looking for this type of beast for a very long time before they chance upon it after a powerful cultivator managed to nurture the Great Artillery Turtle for his Kingdom's defence.

Great Artillery Turtles were at least Silver Grade Beast and one of the most dangerous beasts to face due to their amazing Bcraft.

They were also prideful against working with anyone else. So, it was impossible to tame them after they had developed.

After a long investigation, the Weish Clan found that the origin of the Turtle was a Domestic Immortal Spawn Beast.

Something that they have been looking for.

They found it around 10 years from now, so Lawa wanted to beat it to them and get it or something like that.

Since every Domestic Immortal Spawn Turtle can be turned into something else.

This way he will have a reliable friend.

The third most important thing was not a beast or a weapon.

Weish Clan were a very old race of humans, and they amassed incredible knowledge, which allowed them to manipulate Craftwork that had never been seen in the world.

But one thing that Lawa learned was that they aren't inherently Craftworkers themselves.

They usually scour kingdoms and empires to find talented individuals and then educate them in various fields before they make them craft useful things for them.

There was a great Craftworker who revolutionized almost everything that the Weish Clan used.

He was the one who improved their Craftships and Craftvehicles while also integrating Bcraft into them.

The man single-handedly raised their fighting power and discovery in just a decade. He was also the one who upgraded the hounds and made them stronger and better.

The man's origin was humble; he came from a settlement, not even a city, but has always been gifted.

Lawa and some hounds were the ones that captured him.

Now, Lawa wished to reach him before the Weish Clan did. With his knowledge of the future and a lot of Crafts designs, he can team up with the man and create a force.

If he succeeded in getting the man, things would be easier for him. Especially when hunting down amazing Bcrafts and using them as a basis for his Craftworks.

Lawa was daydreaming as he walked when he noticed the light of dawn. He sat beneath the only tree in the vicinity and closed his eyes.

The craft staff stabbed in the sand waiting.

Whatever True Master did to him was good; as long Lawa didn't remember his dream, his mind was at present and at peace.

Lawa was feeling as if this was truly the first time he was coming outside the Stone Wall. Which was the actual truth, the dream was just a dream. Not reality.

He didn't know that the True Master Brass had sealed most painful dream memories and also allowed him to view the rest in a murky way.

This was what made Lawa sane all this time.

Lawa utilized the Fake Equality Skill and attacked his potential.

This was done by using his Rena to circulate violently, which should have raptured his body, but because it was in a special pattern, his body didn't rapture, but he felt as if something was torn inside him.

Rena has healing properties, and immediately, the torn inside was healed.

"I see Fake Equality was just a name placed in order to prevent people from using the skill"

Jaha World power system came with an enlightened understanding of things.

Just like how Lawa knows the restrictions even without facing them, he now understands more about the skill.

The real name of the skill was Limited Candle Light.

It was a skill that made the body into a candle that was lit like a flame. The fuel was one innate potential and talents.

The more one pushes forward the more they will be burning.

Just like a candle he will eventually burn out and die.

It's a perfect skill to make numerous disposable soldiers during dangerous situations.

That was also why it's a Forbidden Skill.

By using it now, Lawa was basically a cultivator and the benefits of one appeared inside him.

Humans developed cultivation to obtain powers similar to Maha Beasts and contend with them in the food chain and it was successful to a degree.

What every Maha Beast has is Rachis Innate—an innate ability in them they can use any time as long as they have Rena.

Humans have Rena, too, but they weren't born with Rachis Innate; they were called Null Beast, which makes them below Iron Grade Beast, which was the lowest beasts there are.

But through cultivation, they can obtain Rachis Innate, and that happens the moment they reach the Body Stage.

Rachis Innate: Preeminence Sight

Primary Rachis Hold: CandleLight

This was what Lawa obtained.

Preeminence Sight was already there but truly dormant even though it was the reason Lawa had the Prophecy.

Candle Light was the new one and it was because of Forbidden Skill Limited Candle Light which pushed him into the realm of cultivation inappropriately.

Lawa felt lost at first; Preeminence Sight was still not very strong because he had less energy, and he could feel the working of the Candle Light in his body.

"It's really Fake Equality!" Lawa muttered.

His Rena has been used in activating the skill, and for that, he feels weak now, but he can feel the strength coming back and Rena accumulating faster than normal.

"But my potential is being consumed!" he said dejectedly.

Another benefit of the Candle Light was the fast Rena recovery, unlike other normal cultivation.

Sunlight was already shining on Lawa's face when he felt he was full again he went on and used another Forbidden Skill to engrave another Ability in his Rachis Hold.

Beasts and Humans can have four unchangeable abilities but most can only have one to two.

Lawa was going for three; it was ideal for his plans.

Even though obtaining another Rachis Hold wasn't always easy, with the benefits of Limited Candle Light, he can get it easily.

Forbidden Skill: Yellow Sand Dune.

By any normal cultivator in the Marmara Clan, this was just a hard-to-use skill, but to him, with the effect of Limited Candle Light, he gained another ability.

Secondary Rachis Hold: Yellow Sand Dune

Lawa's mind blanked away and he fainted. He has tasked his body beyond what he should.

Fainting invoked the sand around to shift and slightly covered him, hiding his presence from the outside world.

This was one of the reasons he wished to obtain the Yellow Sand Dune skill as his Rachis Innate rather than use it as just a skill.

Rachis Innate means something was part of you, and the amount of Rena being used to activate it will be very low while also there won't be an instant backlash that will not heal immediately.

The act of sand covering Lawa came from the deepest part of his desire, which came out as an influence and made the sand behave.

As a skill he will never get that privilege except he was the one that commanded it.

Different cultivation brought about different Rachis Innate.

Special people like Lawa and the other Prophets will already have the initial Rachis Innate which serves as the bedrock of the other Innate.

Rachis was believed to be a single ethereal organ that touched the body and went to the soul.

It's believed to have connected the soul, the body and the world itself.

So, the Initial Rachis Innate should be something robust and powerful to hold other inmates.

Preeminence Sight

Is Powerful enough to stabilise the Rachis to hold two more Innate subsequently in a row without rejection or outright death.

However, the Marmara Clan's initial Rachis Innate was something very weak which had to be nurtured gradually before it could rise and become something strong.

Rachis Innate: Marmara Nurture

This Innate does nothing but slightly improve attunement with stone and soil and then nurtures the Marmara clay they ingested inside.

Marmara Clansmen were weak at the initial phase of cultivation but strong after they stabilised.

Lawa snapped awake. His whole body was covered with the yellow sand of the desert, and only a single small hole existed for his breathing.

Feeling he had obtained Yellow Sand Dune, he smiled, and with a will from him, the sand shifted away, and the one from his back pushed him forward, and he sat outside with a deep breath.

"It feels good to have ability…"

Lawa's head yanked back as a small beast, like a lizard, aimed at his face with its mouth wide open.

Despite his movements, he wasn't able to dodge, and the beast sunk its teeth in his face and injected him with venom.

Immediately, his body became stiff, and he straightened as if dead.

Iron Grade Beast: Yellow Desert Lizard

Rachis Innate: Venom Paralysis

Primary Rachis Hold: Venom Drag

_

It's a native beast found in the Yellow Desert. The lizard was small, like all lizards, but its mouth was larger than normal.

Venom Paralysis immediately made a beast or person freeze and straighten.

Venom Drag, on the other hand, allowed the lizard to control the body of its victims with a mild telekinesis.

Confirming that the victims can't move, the Yellow Desert Lizard just walked ahead and Lawa's body began to be dragged, following the small creature.

Primary Rachis Hold: Venom Drag.

As long as there was Venom inside Lawa, his body would be dragged wherever the lizard went.

'Damn, I forgot about these crettins!'

Lawa can still think and see around him but he can't blink or move any of his limbs.

Not only that, he can't also use his Innates.
