But he shook his head. When was the last time there was a death sentence for a criminal?
As of now, no matter the heinous crime, the punishment was endless labour at the mines. Harvesting resources for the victim's family until they pardoned the culprit.
And even after the pardon, the Elders will take the person and turn him into their slave until they really know he has been redeemed.
If he still harbours ill intent, then his life of slavery will continue till his end.
During war or dangerous missions, the criminals will be at the forefront, their death will bring them salvation.
"It would be easier if they are heinous criminals. But there is something odd about these Miracle Stones. They seem weaker than normal ones. Was it because they are old!"
Lawa trembled as he leaned back; he just remembered one scene where a man with a Miracle Stone was harvested from him, but he was still alive.
"Gatekeeper Guard!" Lawa thought.
For some reason he felt an intrinsic connection between the Gatekeeper Guard and the Miracle Stone he saw.
"He made them!" Lawa realised.
He sprang up and again dragged his sister to the gate which was about four kilometres from their home.
They even greet the old man, the Gatekeeper Guard.
He was very old with grey hair, a wrinkled face, and a grumpy attitude.
Most of the time if someone greeted him, he would just nod.
But the responsibility of opening and closing the gate was on him.
Well, there weren't any gates or doors that allowed constant entry to the Marmara Stone Wall.
But using Marmara Cultivation Art to the very limit he was able to turn the Stone Wall into a gate in the blink of an eye to allow entry or exit.
Another thing was that the Gate Keeper had just changed location, and now everyone had followed him because wherever he was, that was the place where the gate could be crafted in an instant.
Even during the invasion of the Weish Clan, they just bulldozed themselves in with weaponry.
Coming back home, Lawa settled back into his room. Now, he has a plan in his head, but he is afraid.
He had confirmed that the Miracle Stones he had seen were all made by the Gatekeeper.
Somehow, the old man has a cultivation secret that allowed him to kill himself, harvest Miracle Stone, and then revive.
That's how Lawa understood it.
If that was the case, Lawa wanted that too.
Truth be told, he can't even begin to imagine killing anyone to get Miracle Stone. His mind will collapse and he will never recover.
Even now as others were doing it, he felt he was on the edge of insanity.
Not to mention, he refused to believe that the Prophets were the ones doing it alone; they must have a backer.
Just like Lawa can tap their house walls and gain the image of everyone in the house,
Elders and Stone Sentries can feel when someone was killed, especially in creating Miracle Stone.
For that reason, he felt an urge to leave the clan and search for his fortune outside and build his strength before he came back.
Of course, he can request the Miracle Stone from the Chief. It's doable with his new status of Prophet but he knew with certainty he would not get it.
The reason was that the Miracle Stone was one of the resources that no amount of wealth could buy. Heck, as far as he knew, only Chief should own it, anyone else is a crime.
Lawa took the Scribe Tablet and scribed what he found out, he went through them gradually and eliminated a lot of things.
Now he was left with a series of things to do, and they are: Approach Gate Keeper and convince him to help him gain Miracle Stone from himself.
Of course, Lawa might have to become the old man's disciple; he didn't mind. Besides, he won't be cultivating for the next 5 years or even more.
So, he doesn't mind bowing his head and learning.
If he succeeded in getting his own Miracle Stone, then the hard part would begin.
Lawa sighed; the amount of plans he was making today had surpassed everything he had ever done in his life!
"How in heaven's name can I approach him!"
Lawa wondered before he shook his head and said, "That's for Sada and Lami to deal with. I'm not killing myself by concocting that plan. They can deal with his eccentric attitude and convince him to take me in!"
Throwing that thought away.
Lawa looked at the second thing he should do. It's a massive gamble for his life and potential.
"Destroying my potential to get a continuous boost in power sounds menacing to me!"
Lawa said to himself; at that moment, he felt extreme pity for himself.
He had lived 21 years of life of slavery in pain and now things are forcing him to take drastic actions that he doesn't even have a guarantee that he will succeed.
"Hoo!" Lawa's eyes were filled with tears before he said, "That is the only way!"
Using Extreme Skill at his Stage will be crippling his future potential and talents but the extreme skill he was going to use will harness his potential allowing him to grow powerful in a very short amount of time.
However, there was no return. He will keep getting stronger and stronger until he harnesses every ounce of his potential before he begins to age fast and lose all that power until he becomes as old as an old wrinkled fabric.
Even with help from potion and elixir and whatever cure there was, he would only live for another decade.
His death is certain!
Extreme Skill—Fake Equality
That was the name of the skill Lawa intended to use.
He knew for certain that the skill ranked high among the forbidden skills but he didn't care.
If he succeeded, there would only be punishment, and with the power he gained, that wouldn't be a thing.
But if he failed, he will just be another corpse among many that will be forgotten in the annals of history.
Well, everybody will eventually die except very few of those who ascended.
"I will need to convince them to agree." Lawa thought about his sister. That woman will give him a headache, she may want to come with him.
With Fake Equality Skill, Lawa will have a boost in physical strength, speed and agility that will continue to rise.
With that and his Miracle Stone, he will leave to hunt the treasures he needs. This was where the true problem started.
What should he go for?
There are so many things he knows and wants, but what is best to go after?
"Unreachable Black Sand?" Lawa shook his head.
"A weapon?"
He shook his head.
"What about the variety of Craftwork made by Gold Grade Beasts?"
"I should avoid the Weish Clan!"
He reminded himself.
"By now what is it that the Weish tried to get but failed until later years?" Lawa asked himself.
"There are a lot of them. But anything I want to get now should be close to the Miracle Elixir!"
By putting the source of Miracle Elixir as an anchor, Lawa was able to narrow down a variety of things.
He put them on the list before he went and ate before taking a nap.
That was the extent of how he could plan.
Simple, straight to the point and the rest should unravel themselves. He hopped.

The next day, Sada was around and they talked extensively about his plan.
Just like he had expected they didn't agree.
"Look. Sister," he looked at Lami before he turned to Sada and said,
"Brother, my condition is worsening. I know that, and I can feel the clan will be in turmoil, and that will affect me more."
"Not to mention, those Absolute Masters will surely squeeze any benefit I have and dump me since I won't be able to cultivate and you won't benefit much if I can't cultivate."
He tried to reason, "The best way is to take this path. With Fake Equality, I will have the strength to bring treasures to the clan and have the same standing as the other Prophets!"
"We are coming then!" Lami said.
"And what about the kids? You're going to disappear just like mother."
Lawa almost shouted,
"No, I will be stronger than all of you combined by then. I won't have anything to worry about. I will be able to defeat those at the Body Stage. Those cultivators at Echoe Stage won't be able to kill me either."
Lawa said in one breath before he concluded,
"Fake Equality has dangerous drawbacks but the benefits it gave before that is extremely strong."
They never agreed and it was a continuous debate that never ended.
When night came, Sada came back with a message from True Master Brass saying he had approved of it.
This shocked Lami. Why would the Elder agree? Now there was nothing she could do about it.
What they didn't know was that the Elder only gave Lawa hope.
The injury in Lawa's brain won't ever heal without Miracle Elixir.
However, with Fake Equality, Lawa will gain confidence and ego to move forward, which may stabilize him to quest for a solution.
In his quest, he may achieve body and soul confidence as well as regain his ego. That will boost his mind and his brain will go back to normal.
If he doesn't, then only the Miracle Elixir will work.
But, recovering his mind won't heal his destroyed potential.
