In the midst of Eden's buildings, a white haired angel stood amongst the others. She stood out the most because of her four wings, meaning that she was an executioner angel. With her, stood her blue haired companion, reading a report. As she began to read, she found it odd that her companion was trying not to laugh.
"Hey Sarakiel… I'm curious, what is on that report?" Sarakiel looked at her and immediately started laughing, Esther took the piece of paper into her own hands, and saw the crime.
"Why would the First Order request us to execute someone based off this crime?" She was appalled, apparently his room being messy was a crime worthy of execution.
"I don't know Esther," she stopped laughing for a bit after realizing the reality. A poor angel would have to die because his room was messy.
"What's his name? Wait, I didn't finish reading it!" Sarakiel immediately grabbed the paper back, "so… you're telling me that you only read the crime?" Esther replied dumbfounded, her arms crossed in disbelief. "Hehe…" Sarakiel closed her eyes and briefly smiled.
Upon reading the name, she rolled her eyes, "So… what's the name?" Esther asked, Sarakiel looked at her surprised, "you dare to scold me when you did the same..? Hypocrite..!" She jumped Esther, as they laughed together at what could possibly be the last time executing someone.

"As it turns out… we executed the wrong person, Sarakiel…" Esther sighed, Sarakiel was laughing her ass off, turns out, executing angels for 500+ years really does something to you. "So… what now? Do we get executed?" Sarakiel laughed at Esther's words, "no silly! We fall into the Human Realm!"
She paused for a second, "augh.. I don't wanna go there, only the Third Order angels go there!" She seemed as if she was about to throw a tantrum.
"Although.. I must say.. Executing him was worth it!" Sarakiel used to hate Aeril, he was always very bossy with all the executioner angels and always scolded them for doing their jobs. Everyone in his department adored him for "trying to protect them", but he just didn't want to die himself. He was a selfish bastard, Esther felt bad for his fiance, as she got swept up by his deceit.
A two winged angel suddenly entered the room they were staying in, Esther immediately recognized her blonde hair and green eyes, with her half-mask, she was Enila, one of the famous Third Order twins. She serves Cherubim Isda in the trial room, she is as loyal as loyalty can get you.
"Ah! I am sorry, but the trial will be starting soon,,," although she was not like the rumours were, Esther wondered what her brother seemed like. "Oh, thank you Enila! Come on Sarakiel, we should go with her." Enila seemed very shy, yet mildly nodded. "Please follow me!"
She knew the place like the back of her hand, as she witnessed trials since she left the nursery together with her twin.
Esther had occasionally witnessed trials from the audience, yet had never seen the inside of them. As those who had a trial would either be executed or cast down, never to be heard of again. Sad reality really.
"Hello there angels! Welcome to the trial of the two executioner angels, Esther and Sarakiel." Started Cherubim Isda, her white veil covered her face, leaving only her mouth uncovered. She had wavy purple hair that stood out in front of the white background, and her glimmering halos shone a bright yellow, it was clear that she was a First Order Angel. "Since this trial involves a murder, the two convicted will stay in the red room and will be guilty until found innocent!"
"The murder was a mistaken execution, they seemed to have murdered the wrong angel, let us take a minute of silence for Aeril."
The whole courtroom fell silent, and not even a minute passed before the Cherubim continued.
"Esther, your divine power was found near the wound, so were you the one who delivered the final blow, correct?" She accused Esther, "Y- yes-! B- But it was an accident! It was written in the report-" She tried to shoot back, her dignity and honor were being attacked here publicly. As soon as she said it, she heard the audience gasp, as they immediately started gossiping.
"Oh my~ It seems as if we got a confession!" The First Order angel announced. Esther noticed that Enila was looking at her with pity, she seemed to be the only one with common sense.
"How can you say it was an accident! An innocent angel was killed!" Xenia shouted, she was Aeril's lover and fiancée, her anger was understandable. She seemed to be in mourning since she wore a black cape, however that was likely going to add a dermit to her since angels don't mourn for the criminals. But since he technically wasn't a criminal, they would maybe let it go. This was proof of her love.
"My dear Aeril was killed by your own hands! Yet you claim it was only an accident? A life was taken-" She continued crying while letting all her anger out until Cherubim Isda had to stop her.
"Silence in the courtroom!" She sighed, angels got too emotional sometimes.
"Continuing on, Esther has been found guilty. Now we shall question Sarakiel." She blabbered on, no one left the trial innocent, everyone was aware of that. "Since Sarakiel did not stop Esther in killing the poor, innocent angel, she shall receive a demerit. Unless she too was involved, do you have anything to say to this?"
"That guy deserved to die. He was a cu-" "That's enough! Well I guess Sarakiel is also found guilty." Cherubim Isda interrupted, Eden was supposed to be a place of virtue.
"As such, we shall go on with their punishment, Enila and Azari, please take off their halos." "On it Is- Cherubim Isda." Azari replied, he seemed to know her well enough to drop the formalities.
In Eden, halos give you most of your divinity, and are given when you receive a job. Those who don't have halos are most likely office workers that don't have any use for that divinity.
Enila didn't seem shy at all, it was more as if she was Esther's fan. Anyway, Esther found that specific fact weird.
But what she found even weirder, was that when Enila took off her halo, she felt a sense of relief upon her. As if it were a burden she was lifting on her shoulders.
"Because their weapons were confiscated before they arrived at the courtroom, we will not be taking them this time." She paused for a second, then smiled, "Cut their hair."
Esther was particularly dumbfounded at this order, she loved her long hair, yet they were going to cut it? She stared at Sarakiel who had not warned her about this, as Sarakiel looked at Cherubim Isda with an arrogant face. She could feel the wind around her weapon as they cut her hair. Not even a second later, they fell down.
